Every song gets more unique as they go on. Tear in my heart is completely different and this is the only version I listen to of that song now. Paul’s vocals are featured more on it. It’s incredible. Lane boy is like no words good. It’s ends really epic and all drums.
Ooh, lovely. Paul Meany was co-producing the Trench album with Tyler Joseph. Also Paul Meany is mentioned as a producer, after Tyler, on Level of Concern, so we might draw the conclusion that he can be co-producing also the next TOP album.
Ooh wasn't expecting you to check these out, pleasant suprise! Also, they did a cover of Lane Boy and Josh and Darren both totally light up the drums, they're the stars for that session for sure.
Tyler and Josh both have long admired Mutemath. They met briefly in 2015, which led to MM opening for TØP for a leg of the Emotional Road Show tour in 2016/17. Tyler’s always had a big hand in production, but Trench was his first foray as primary producer. Needing help and guidance with certain technical aspects of production, he called on Paul, whose DIY background appealed to Tyler. Paul has co-producer and co-writer credit on about half the songs on Trench. BTW these sessions were recorded in the middle of a two year long tour, so Tyler’s voice is not at its best here.
I also often have to close my eyes and let the sound of twenty one pilots wash over me with songs like this one (and Bandito and a few others) because it's just so beautiful I want to hear everything. Hopefully you do all the sessions. You'll love the drumming in Lane Boy.
For a mutemath fan it's gonna be epic, you will love this session. Also waitin for Trench after this collaboration , and as you know Tyler really into do his music , he wrote and produced hole Trench album by himself in homebase studio. But there was only man who helped Ty with production , guess who was that ?) As well really want to see your reaction for same quality session after Trench album with Tyler .
Hey Shanejke, thanks for the info, I heard that Paul helped produce the Trench album, that makes sense, I can hear a lot of his influence in the music. I will check out all live and session performances over time, let me know if I miss any... I know there is a lot... see you on the next..
Hey Scott, do you have any social media platforms that you use? (Twitter followed by Instagram being my personal poisons of choice) I (and probably other viewers) would love would love an opportunity to interact with you on a more personal level rather than being limited by the public platform provided through the RUclips comments sections. Let me know! :)
Hey Nez, yes I do, they are listed in the description portion of all my videos, I would love to connect with you on there for sure... I have facebook, Twitter and instagram.. if you are having trouble finding the info, please let me know...
Heheyyy! Awesome, will you be doing all 5 of these? P.s. (there's a massive drum battle at the end of Lane Boy, don't know if it's Darren King or one of the other guys but I'm sure you'll love it).
Random question: Have you heard of the british band "Everything Everything"? (I wouldn't expect you to have, they're not utterly huge, but if you like the music of MuteMath, and you like Musical & Lyrical creativity I'd highly reccomend Everything Everything. If you want to take a listen I highly reccomend: Duet Distant Past Fortune 500 No Reptiles Desire Can't Do In Birdsong (Only released yesterday!) Wheel is Turning Cough Cough Ivory Tower ...if you decide to give them a listen... enjoy!
Hey Hamza, I have not heard of them before, I will give them a listen, I enjoy listing to new bands, I listen to a lot of music, and am always looking for bands to react to, I plan on continuing with T0P, and NF, will definitely do some MuteMath, and then we will see from there, I am thinking of adding in OneRepublic or Paramore to the mix... but we will see. :) have a good one.
story teller performance by TOP. its a great live session!
