Motocicleta bonito e um gato preto bonito é boa sorte
Ichiban Moto Hi Ichiban, big fan here:)
Black cats are bad ass.
I´m giving myself 5 out of 5 Ichiban moto stickers!
+Daniel Geraldo really great buddy, i am from India, i want contact with you, 9774424602 its my whtsapp number bro
You can tell that you are truly passionate about building this bike. So many people just whip up a bike that looks horrible. Yours looks brilliant - still simple and easy, but not too complicated. Well done!
Most of the times simple is better.
Thanks:)
Coco Channel always said: "less is more"
Indeed! Here there is a saying that translates to "anything in excess is a plague"
ha! I like it. Where are you from btw?
Portugal.
Magnifique! 👍🏻
Merci 👍🏻
man first of all i have to tell you that you are indeed badass!great video!! ive just bought a stock two fifty and you gave me the power to strip it down and make it a cool moto like yours!greetings from Greece!
Hi,I very much enjoyed the detailed video , Excellent result , I would like to do something similar myself , Thankyou
+Syddly Thank you;) Good luck with you project!
Great video Brother. Top notch really enjoyed and a beautiful build! Thank you
Thanks Daniel I just obtained a CB 250 RS and will do a similar build to yours. Thanks for listing all the parts you used this is very helpful. You need to watch out grinding near your car.
Thanks, yes now I'm more careful grinding and welding:)
Nice bike, good luck with your project.
Yours is a single, more torque at lower rpms = more fun!
After looking on internet a lot of modification Honda 250 Nighthawk bikes, this is the one! Very clean and minimalist. I would like to have my bike like your!
Thank you. I have two potential bikes to rebuild (CMX250 and VT700C). Your build taught me more about symmetry and the importance to the results than I realized.
Great job... Really inspiring... A question. Did you modify or change the fuel tank? Original is it flat line at the bottom?
Great transformation seriously, but i have a doubt, i got a cb 250 too and i was plannin o modifying it, removing the baffles and drilling a hole in the center and rejetting the carburetor makes the bike faster or more powefull? does it has impact on fuel?
Hi Daniel about to start a similar project. Do you have more detailed video, pictured ,drawings, notes anything on how you made and shaped the seat. Most people use eBay seats and cut the frame lock off. I love the fact you modified the original seat. Really need your help on this I hope you can help me.
very beautiful bike. How do you like the yamaha vstar 250? I'd like your opinion on its looks in stock form.
What kind of air filter do you have? The red after market one? Link? Thank you, great work on the bike!
CB250 was my first bike. It was a fucking piece of crap, but I'm glad to see that you made it look awesome.
very good, i just started chopping my cb250 ;-)
0:20 Like a bumdass you removed the cat now it's going to run like a dog and will never earn an emissions certification.
i love how you used sacred geometry in something you're passionate about ✌
thank you:)
Hi! Trying to see what you did with the battery. Do you have any photos of what you did to cover the battery?
Cool! This is the first motorcycle build ive seen where someone talks about everything being symmetrical
Did you cut down the existing rear fender or remove completely?
Very great. Do you have facebook? Can i add friend you? I'm really really admirable you. I just buy a motor daelim 125. i want to build a street tracker. i have some problems. Can you share your experience? :)
Hi!
Sorry I don't use facebook.
I don't have experience with your bike but if you search the net I'm sure you'll find all you need.
Thank you and have fun with your project:)
Amazing build I really like it. But I must say. Please wear shoes or boots to protect your feet. I'm not trying to be a jerk. But I learned a hard painful lesson working in my garage on my car. I wore sandals and I broke my big toe on my right foot. Got 10 stitches and lost my toenail. It was very painful. Be safe. But that bike is amazing. Great work. 👍👍👍
Thank you🙏 Ouch, sorry to ear about your toe, and yes I don't work with sandals anymore.
Costumbre de arruinar diseños bonitos de fábrica...
Cool video and nice build! I love that you talked about the proportions of the components of the bike (in detail) for an attractive build. I feel the one you missed was lowering the headlight to where the top of the headlight is even with the top of the gas tank. It is usually very simple to do and gives a cafe racer style bike an extremely sleek look. A very subtle detail that goes a long way to make a sexy machine.
Hi Michael, thank you, I never thought about moving the headlight but will look into it, now I'm curious;)
Cheers!
how did you modify the fuel tank? Original, the tank has two corners pointing downward. (still present when you film the painting). On the finished build, the tank has a straight lint on the bottom.
Did you piant the corners black, or did you do something else?
Just painted the corners matt black.
The optical illusion works even when you stand next to it :)
I apologize but I'll probably post a few comment/questions under here. Was tail light and signal wiring pretty straight forward? did you have to move the battery?
+HamBone123456789ten It's all right:) The tail light wiring is pretty simple.
I didn't move the battery, a cover is a good idea though, I don't have one yet.
Hi Daniel, I loved the video, well done. I have just bought a cb250 and you have inspired me to make the bike my own. Thankyou
Hi nsr(my first bike)freak.
Thanks, have fun, take care;)
What MM size for the air filter. I already purchased the carb kit and exhaust. just need to figure out the right size for the filter. thanks so much. your bike is the inspiration for my build.
∅50mm, good luck!
Man I didn't appreciate how impressive it is to make this bike look cool until I bought one. Did you modify the gas tank? I noticed the holes where the original plastic fairings attach on the gas tank (near the seat) are gone.
All I did to the gas tank was paint the corners matt black, you're right it's nearly impossible to make the bike look good without doing it:)
Hi what size jets did you go with? Thanks a lot
Great bike, have gotten great ideas thank you, just a question, the carburator kit what does that include, who did u get it from, any changes to the air filter ?,thnx
answering myself, just saw list of parts, sorry.
Great bike! I own the same motorcicle and Im also thiking how to modify it. Good inspiration! Saludos desde Barcelona
+Alejandro Morales Gracias:) Saludos!
You can overlay a Fibonacci sequence over a mud puddle and make something line up. Good grief...
In that case it would be a beautiful mud puddle:)
Daniel have you had any problems getting proper carb mixture & calibration after going to Pod air filters?
After the pod + exhaust I changed the jets and tuned the carb.
If you do that pods are no problem in my opinion.
how much to purchase that exact seat from you? I live in the USA and am a seat away from from a complete bike same model as yours.
Mine is the only one I have, you can buy one from ebay but check U.S laws, adicional customs charges may apply.
Making one from scratch is not hard, after you cut a sheet of metal and drill a few holes to screw on the frame, you take it to the upholstery shop and the guy puts the foam and leather on it.

Can you tell me more about how you prepped the gas tank to be repainted?
260 and 400 grit sand paper, I'm not a pro painter, please look for a video that teaches how to it;)
+rui rua
Olá Rui. Procura o link na descrição do vídeo onde diz Fork covers.
Abraço.
Mano está muito fixe a mota. De que zona és?
Very elegant for a retro look to that 80hawk Honda design. BSA 60s. Reusing the original seat (pan) with new vinyl or leather was good, and avoided having to chop up the frame. The CB250 with that swooping seat means than no flat bottomed cafe seat will fit unless you:
1 chop the frame severely adding a long loop (which becomes too close to the rear tire) or
2 you straighten the rails, which causes the same problem.
3 Doing neither, but just propping up a cafe seat with risers makes the very ugly gap below and a wiggle seat.
For those that do not upholster from scratch:
I found that that the CB360T replacement seat cover from the 80s is almost the same as the nighthawk but with a flatter cleaner top allowing more cushion. Build up the rider dish padding level with the passenger, and cover with the 360 replacement cover (usually about $50US). At that point you may keep or toss the taillight box (depending on your desires) and even the side plastics.
looks great! Gotta lower the front end and get rid of that old speedo/tach though :P
how much it cost to modify a cb250?
+Marco Aguiar Obrigado.
50mm.
Boa sorte com o teu projeto;)
Nice bike! Did you paint the lower part of the side panels black?
I painted the lower corners of the gas tank black, there are no side panels covering the battery.
Thanks:)
Hi Danie, Nice work of art. Is that cb 250 nighthawk? How did you hide the small mounting bracket at the bottom of the gas tank? The bottom of the gas tank seems to be perfectly straight line.
Hi,
Yes it is.
Just painted with flat black spray paint.
Nice, I thought it was cut and weld.
Beautiful work. Picked up an old hawk a week ago. Wasn't going to mess with it, just service it and ride... May have to rethink that. Thank you for sharing!!!
Nice work. Beautiful bike!
Love the philosophy behind this build...what a result, too!
I have a couple of questions: how do you find the new riding position with the passenger pegs? Is it more cramped than the stock configuration? If not, would you recommend having your peg configuration with the stock handlebars?
Greetings from ur neighbour in Spain :)
¡Hola
The big improvement is the handlebar, the pegs go well with it but it’s not a big difference. So with stock handlebars is not worthy to modify the pegs.
Gracias vecino;)
Obrigado man!! Thanks for the tip. If you ever find yourself riding in Andalusia, drop me a message :D
I've got a nicely painted two-fifty I just bought...and a few plans in mind for it. Your video serves as a huge source of inspiration. Good job on it, sir!!
The engine was stock at the end of the video?
well done Daniel good work and always important to pick the right bike
thanks;)
congratulations, very stimulating your video.Tenho in mind a similar project but on a very common cb 400 in Brazil.
Hi Daniel, first off all great bike and project. Quick question if you don't mind. Where did you put the battery of the bike?
+stijn van schagen It's in the same place, at 10:56 you can see a red spot, is the +.
I should get a cover to hide it but haven't done it yet.
Thanks;)
+Daniel Geraldo h
hey, very nice video, and awesome cat. thought you russiand at the beginning.
i have a fewnques , im a beginer-rider and im stopping on cb 250. what year is yours? and shere can i see more pics?
obrigado
Eko Reale Thanks:) You´re not the 1st telling me I sound russian when I speak english!
Mine is 2003, it is a good beginner bike or city bike.
Please check pictures in the video description.
Good luck on your new bike.
+Daniel Geraldo
haha nice. hey when i click the link it says no albums found. would i be able to achive same looks with older models, like 1970-1990? and one more, im 185cm and 100kl, the bike wont crush under me?)))
Eko Reale
Sorry, it is fixed now, please check the links in the video descritpion. You may have to copy/paste to your browser.
The bike has nice torque, me and my girlfriend weight in total 140kg and it runs good.
But test ride before you buy, just in case:)
It should be easy to achive a similar look because it is a relatively simple project.
Qual o procedimento a fazer... Obrigado..
Loved the video I wonder what did you do with the battery? Did you have to relocate it?
Yes where the battery go
God level! Very nice job is done! Going to order cb250rs and dream it will look like yours!
Cheers
+Eugene Fesyuk Thank you for the nice comment;)
Have a great time with your new bike.
@@corridasloucas hey bud, do you still have this bike?
Hello, your video is amazing, I use it as instruction to remake my bike, could you please make a photo of the front wheel, in the axle position, I think I lost the bushing, and would like to compare.
+Piero Rios Zagastisal Gracias, Boa sorte:)
This was by far one of the best home built bike videos I've seen. It was really interesting to see the symmetry and use of the Fibonacci Sequence explained. Great job!
Awesome! Busy with my own 1980 CB400N :)
Thank you.
Have fun, your bikes kickstarter increases the cool factor:)
I have a CM200 T and i wont to make it like your CB250 ,is it possible ? Any good advice ?
Yes, your bike is very similar.
Do it with love and it will be better than mine!
I like your style man ,
thanks for the advice !
Picking up lower bars for my cb250 and will now be swapping the footpegs. That's a really good idea. Gorgeous bike.
Nice sound, like some bmw bikes
I'm about to pick up an 01 CB250 and you've thoroughly inspired me. You are seriously talented!
Great build. What size tires are you running front and rear?
130 rear, 90 front. thanks:)
onde poso ecotra esse motor 250 cc
Pergunto se tem a mala e suporte?
BEST DIY bike video I've ever seen, very very impressed and your bike looks great too dude!
Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing ! I love how you modified the existing seat. I have 2 seats and was wondering if I could send to you to replicate what you did on your bike?
Que bonita felicidades!!-More beautiful congrats!!
Thank you:) Felicidades!
how many horsepower you get???i am building a motorcycle now and i am trying to find an engine so,can you tell me please?
I don't know, original is 20hp, maybe I got 2hp more!
About the original i asked..thank you very much
Awesome! Looks great. I have same bike and want to change it, like yours.
Can you help me with pod filter? Old link doesn't work.
The filter is ∅50mm, 45 degree but can't find any for sale!
I would go with this one instead www.ebay.com/itm/50mm-Air-Cleaner-Filter-Universal-Fit-Motorcycle-Honda-Kawasaki-Suzuki-Yamaha-/272459114574?hash=item3f6fd4284e:g:1pcAAOSwzJ5XVxwd&vxp=mtr
People say they suck but I think they're fine.
Thanks;)

Nice Looking bike , is that your regular ride?
Yes it is, 2 years without problems:)
I don't do long trips though, just ride it around town 2 or 3x a week.
Thanks:)
Ok, já tinha respondido. Pintou de preto mate. Pode disponibilizar uma foto de pormenor?
Grato.
wow!!! this is my motivation to pull the trigger on a 2007 tomorrow. the rear render hack... so good. how did you know how far back to cut the seat/frame?
+HamBone123456789ten I kept the seat lock, its the last bit of frame left, but usually a seat hoop is used.
Thanks;) Good luck and be safe.
+Daniel Geraldo Nice. Just picked up the bike. Have you come across any websites that sell seats like yours? I started cutting mine down but I've decided I want a brown one.
+HamBone123456789ten I'm sure there are websites, you can also try the nearby upholstery shop.
Cb250 nighthawk is one of the best sounding 250cc class beginner bike.
I like your video
I have discovered that you cannot create custom motorcycles or much of anything for that matter without a good cat!! Your good to go!
ahah, you discovered the secret!
Daniel Geraldo Yup, I design loudspeakers and my cat is right beside me checking out every part.
did you trim that bottom flare off of the tank? considering doing the same but i cant tell if that section actually contains the fuel.
No, it's just painted in matt black. It does contain fuel:)
ha! almost went and chopped it. thanks
Beautiful work!
Great video! You modified your bike in an awesome way!
+Roberto Berti Thank you for the nice comment, I appreciate it;)
Daniel, Impecavel.
what year is this one?
Does it have side kick
Nice bike mate!
You did a nice job!
Holy shit dude your design concepts :D
+Lachlan Mackay lol! cheers:D

Man, you put a lot of thought and effort in this bike
I want one
di you cut the borders on the gas tank?
No, just painted matt black.
thanks for the great upload! Such simple modifications for a beautiful bike!
+_ Nerdify Thank you for the nice comment, I appreciate it;)
No problem! I have a few questions in regard to the mods you did, if you wouldn't mind answering!
Did you grind down the excess metal on the bottom of the tank to make the lines cleaner?
Did you do the upholstery work or custom?
Did you change wiring for the LED signals?
hope to hear from you! THANKS :)
+_ Nerdify Sure:
1-No, just paint matt black.
2-No, it was a nearby upholstery shop. To be honest it´s not 100% what I wanted but good enough.
3-The indicators are small regular bulbs, not led but you´ll need the relay I have in the links for them to work.
The tail/brake light is leds and no wiring is needed, it is plug and play, all you need to do is crimp new terminals on the wires and connect.
Thanks:)
+Daniel Geraldo Thanks for all your help. I plan on picking one of these bikes up but before i do, I'd really like to hear how it fit you? Seat height/leg room e.g. How tall are you? looking forward to hearing back!
+_ Nerdify I´m 5´9"/155lbs or 176m/70Kg, it´s very confortable and fun to ride once you replace the handlebar with a wider one.
The seat height is fine for me but you shoud try before you buy, it is a matter of personal preference.
