Got the chops but no musicality, toms sounded dead , again (just opinion) solo out of context with the atmosphere/ vibe 🤔
Just saw him play with glasper and he was mind blowing. Kind of agree that his insanely subdivided solos are not my fave. But WOW that guy has pocket and subtlety for days playing the rest of the tune.
‘No musicality’ is an outrageous statement. This is man is speaking through drums
Its too deep for you and thats ok no one will come out and ever admit that tho. Welcome to the internet
I do think the sound of the drums is taking away from the solo, they definitely sound dead
