I just wanted to thank you guys for giving lesser known French parks the spotlight! I feel like the French theme park industry has been blooming lately with very interesting developments for a lot of parks, can’t wait to see more of that in the next few years 😍
Don’t know if you noticed but in the station of Mystic there are two voodoo dols of Asterix and Obelix their sister park, an inside joke between the parks, so funny. Love what companies des Alpes does with their parks and how much they invested in the last 10 years. Made this park a really nice one looks wel maintained, fresh and wel themed and the new coaster is a great addition and unique in Europe at the moment. The theming and attractions they added to Walibi Belgium (my home park) are just top notch and Parc d’Astrix is one of the best parks in Europe in my opinion. Maybe the theming of Walibi Holland isn’t up to that level but they have some great coasters there for the trill seekers and there are 2 single rail RMC’s coming up there. Looks like they are not slowing down to make their parks compete with the best and that’s just great news for us enthousiasts. Love the vlog, thank you both, cannot wait for the next one at La Pal.
i went there once in the mid 90s. what i remember about the park was that they had an awesome inca style water slide where you had to go in with your swimming trunks. never forget.
It’s amazing to see how much Walibi Rhône-Alpes has changed, since it opened to the public in the 70's. I'm loving all the recent additions that the park has added throughout the years, especially with their recent addition, Mahuka. I can’t wait to see what Walibi Rhône-Alpes has in store for the future. BTW, fantastic vlog!!! 😉😉🤩🤩🇫🇷🎢
If I remember watching your vlog from Emerald Park, you said that some of the areas could benefit from a bit of a re-theme. You know what would cool to see, if Emerald Park could use some of theming along with some the attractions that make Walibi Rhône-Alpes so great.
Those Sunkid trains on the Boomerang don't ever have padding I think. I loved that type train on the Vekoma Looper at Hellendoorn. Had no problem with the restraint.
Thank you for the full tour of Walibi Rhone-Alpes. It looks like a nice park heading in the right direction. Also nice to see plenty of trees and foliage throughout the park.
Like the one that Walibi Belgium is building now? Also where the boatride is and low above the water with launches? Would be a logic thing to do if possible.
Interesting park, it has loads of expansion space surrounding it on Google maps, so plenty of room for a new big addition. Agreed think they need another big addition to take down queues or they need to improve capacity of rides? One of the two, but nice vlog, enjoyed and look forward to more in future. 😀👍
Can you remember the American adventure theme park back in uk in Derbyshire all them years ago, the ride with the turquoise track is the missile what used to be at that park, obviously may not be the one that was there but it is the same X 😊
As soon as you made the turn to the first drop on Timber, you can tell it was going to be rough from the side to side shimmy of the train! But I love the look of this park because it doesn't look like a typical theme park ... very chill, like it belongs on that plot of land ... very nice!
Right. This park is now on my bucketlist. I love the unique themes, like the Festival City theme, the Jungle theme from around Mahuka and the Voodoo theme around Mystic. I love how everything is themed and the rides fit so well in their areas! I hope they indeed have any kind of plans for TamTam Adventure in the future, but I'm certain they're going the right way!
Each walibi park still decides how they want things done, even if the Compagnie Des Alpes is behind it. WB & WRA are focused on families while WH is aimed at teens and still has the six flags legacy (so big rides next to each other on a parking lot vibes). They have made some changes which makes the park nicer though but I agree it's far from what the two other brothers are doing. It's a shame because the CDA has a really talented designer team.
@@LGHshARPII The whole "festivallisation" thing is just weird and ugly. You have a world class ride like Untamed and you deliberately make it look like an overgrown wasteland. You have a medieval castle with a Merlin theme and you cover it with bad grafity. I seriously get none of the choices that park makes. Here's hoping that female director will leave soon and somebody with real vision takes over, because this park has some great rides and so much potential.
You really inspire me to go around the world and try different parks and rollercoasters I really want to do it soon Keep up the great work 👍🏻 Love your videos
I think an intamin hot racer would be a good addition to Towers possibly in the dark Forrest entwined around 13 a good reason to spruce up that area of the park and 13s station as well.
The one and only time I’ve been on a woody was Torraine Te Zeus at Parc Asterix and I think it’s safe to say that I won’t be going through a tunnel on a woody anymore, completely battered my eardrums, Great video ❤
I’ve only just noticed that on Timber, the buzz saw at the front of the train rotates as the train goes through the layout. It’s such a small but interesting detail.
Another great video, the park looks great with some great landscaping, was some of the povs from the park as we didn't hear your voices and reaction as you went on the ride?
As an American, I liked seeing all the US plates, including my home state of Pennsylvania, on there. They are ruining plates now, although I don't know what Yellow and Blue have to do with Pennsylvania so putting the liberty bell on their makes sense. New Hampshire has their lost icon, the Old Man of the Mountain, on theirs
The park shared a Before and After of Festival City and I'm certain a majority have just been upgraded. Other than the Wild Mouse, Six Flags overlooked all but Walibi Belgium and Walibi Holland in their short stint. You would think the park would want to do some marketing in Geneva with an SLC or Bat clone (see what is now Goliath at Fiesta Texas) in addition. Same could be said with Walygator (then Walibi Lorraine) who hired out a mouse from a Showmen in 2003 and later passed on a Wild Mouse from the same park as Monster (although it does operates on the French Rivera) despite being in striking distance to Luxemburg and 3 major cities. That park has had a rough history from the research I've done
The train only encircles Festival City. Problem is the entrance/gift show is outside the perimeter and you immediately cross over to enter the park-which could be why the park isn't inclined in running it anymore and will formally do something with a front gate reno as part of the Walibi France rebrand at the end of the decade. Be nice if they can grade separate or build a new route in the western area since they have room that way. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually bites the dust unfortunately
That Tam Tam adventure did have More about it had scenes all the way around they look like cats but I don't think they are lol, there is a POV of it on here Shawn and Charlotte so maybe it is gonna get removed 😁😁😁
Sure, Tam-Tam is an older ride, but they added drums to the ride at some point in the 2010's but gutted them due to the Pandemic it seems. There were some decent set pieces in 2022, but most of them barley worked or were dirty or overgrown. You'd think they would do some cleaning before the start of the season, then again I don't know why it was only open on the Wednesday of Holy Week as it doesn't seem to be a national or provincial holiday
Hey guys great video once again as always from you two! Seasons pro’s 👍🏻 😁 just a quick one are you two going to do Octoberfest this month I’m going Saturday day one! 😁 can’t wait 🎢🍺🌭 thanks big love bye bye
Please be careful guys when you get sun burnt, please check in at a skin specialist, just in case for skin cancer etc. These days its very risky. And in future videos please wear sun cream or a portable air neck cooler.
We normally narrate the POV’s, however as it’s our first visit to these parks I wanted to record separate 4K POV’s too, then we can share those at a later date as a separate video!

That spike on Mystic - with the hang time 👏👏👏👏
Amazing!

Much better than the usual trains!
Amazed that there are still parks you haven’t been to yet🎉
Always love visiting places for the first time!
Like ones here in Minnesota
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from Walibi Rhône-Alpes in France! Keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte
😀😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the full tour of Walibi Rhone-Alpes. It looks like a nice park heading in the right direction. Also nice to see plenty of trees and foliage throughout the park.
Thank you. We really enjoyed it!
The sound of the anti-rollback on the woodie is lovely
Beautiful sound!
That wild mouse looks exactly the same as the one at Hayling Island Funland. Also has non existent brakes until the end 😂
Crazy ride 😂
After yesterday I was waiting and waiting for this! Thankkk You. Truely adore the magic and love you bring everywhere you go❤
Thank you so much!
What a fabulous park with some quality styled rides.
🎪🎢🎠🛶🌊
That hang time on mystic’s spike is amazing!
It’s crazy!
Loved the Mahuka video yesterday - what an amazing looking ride!
Thank you, it’s excellent!
The park is expected to expand Exotica with a new Gerstlauer family coaster by 2028 which should be great!
Like the one that Walibi Belgium is building now? Also where the boatride is and low above the water with launches? Would be a logic thing to do if possible.
@@jotimmermans8349or like Tiki Waka because its exotic world. Anyway both would be a greag addition.
Can’t wait to see what they do next!
Lots of interesting attractions here, definitely looks an up and coming park,

Hi Sean and Charlotte. This vlog is INSPIRING! I want to go there, I didn’t even know about this park. What a great set of unique rides.
We had a great time!

Unfortunately so, the park is beautiful though!
Looks awesome! As a kid I always wanted to go here, don’t know why 😅
It’s a great park!
Looked absulutly amzing and fun sharp ride the mose ride and fast lol but good you both are haveing so much fun
We’re having a great trip!

The theming is fantastic. Really enjoyed it!
If you look at the theming at this park and Walibi Belgium, you can't help but wonder what happened to the dump site we call Walibi Holland...
Walibi holland isn’t a dump, did you forget they have untamed, Goliath, Xpress platform 13, and lost gravity 🤨
@@Thelightning1out If you read my comment again and this time pay attention, you will find I am talking about theming and not ride hardware. 🤷♂️
@@RikFTK my bad didn’t see the theming part.

Always exciting with a first time park! Nicely themed beautiful park! Mahuca is just brilliant!
We had a fantastic day!
Really impressed with the theme of this park! Love the channel (watch it with my one year old and she smiles ear to ear when she sees yall on the tv)!
It was great!
Was here over the summer too and the train is definitely still running!
36:14 Try bucket hats they have a wide rim
Looks like a great day. Thanks guys ❤
Thanks for coming along with us ☺️
hi guys i’m from france, can’t wait to visit Walibi Rhône Alpes one day
It’s a fantastic park, really thinking about theming and detail!
Fun fact: bobcat at six flags great escape is a near identical clone of timber, just the bunny hills at the end into the brakes aren’t there.
That’s interesting to hear!
This looks like an amazing park, glad you both had fun x
We had a great day!
That Wild mouse looks insane!
8:25 Bless you! 😂
this park got the same revitalisation strategy as walibi Belgium and it's amazing
It’s great to see!
Woot woot! New park and povs!
Love it 😍
Always loved going here!
Great ride!
Showing my age here, but that boomerang coater looked like Missile from the long gone American Adventure.😊
Miss American Adventure very much!

It used to be much smoother than it is now. Again, they added Timberliner trains unfortunately!
But I guess the 90 degree hill was a nice improvement
Great vlog... loved the front row POVS.... nice1 :)
Thank you!
I find it cute one of the Asterix characters has a voodoo doll in Mystic's station. Walibi really knocked it out of the park with presentation
Nice little touch! It’s a fantastic park 😄
I’ve only just noticed that on Timber, the buzz saw at the front of the train rotates as the train goes through the layout. It’s such a small but interesting detail.

Great vlog, looks like another super little park 👍🏻
Thank you!
Was at Drayton a couple of days ago. Realise now I've seen this that Loki wasn't turning around. Don't know how long it's been like that.
Did you spot the easter-egg in the station of Mystic?
The pluchies of Asterix & Obelix on the wall 😉referring to Parc Asterix
Love that!
Mystic looks fun and all but I don’t really understand the end where you go backwards after the tracks stops, there’s hardly anything after it?
Still 90 here in Washington USA. Im over it already
Are you going to Alton towers for October fest? 👍
We will be!
Have fun guys x

Don't understand the massive trim on mystic why didn't they just make the twisty spike larger. Would have made an average coaster into a good one.

Hi, do you like bread?
Of course 😂
Apart from the new coaster, what was your best ride
Mystic!
The theming is very well done but nothing over the top like Disney/universal style. Makes you wonder why more UK parks can’t be like this
Would love to see more parks have theming like this back home
What was your best flat ride
We didn’t really get to experience many of the flats sadly!
