Oh, what a wonderful and intriguing story of an act of God, conversion, and of Sister Aikenhead, whose portrait was in several places around mum's nursing home here in Brisbane Australia. Recently St Vincent's care has taken over and catholic symbols removed. But I'm thrilled you read this so I can put a story to those portraits of Sr Aiken. Our Lady of Banada please pray for us.
O Mary conceived without sin - Pray for us who have recourse to thee. Our Lady of Victories : Pray for us. We have lost the knack of treasuring the little victories in ourselves granted to us by heaven, yet these are the graces Hell hates most - for they lead to the Victory of the Immaculate Heart. Of course, we don't want other souls having a stroke but a wee bit of a change in a man's heart will do all souls some good. And that is part of the problem, Catholics were chided in the 1960s-70s for their childlike faith .. superstition, it was called, and uneducated and priest-ridden and nunnery stuff - not at all what we have now, as was long intended by the experts in progress, a half-educated, godless superstitious indifferentism .... Keep the Faith; tell the truth, shame the devil, and let the demons shriek. God bless. ;o)
