Drømmekage tutorial with Irene

  • Today in Irene's Kitchen we'll be baking a Drømmekage (Dream cake)
    Recipe:
    Dej (Dough):
    250g mel (Flour)
    50g smør/margarine (Butter/Margarine)
    300g sukker (Sugar)
    4 æg (Eggs)
    2 dl mælk (Milk)
    3 tsk (teaspoon) bagepulver (Baking Powder)
    3 tsk (teaspoon) vaniljepulver (Vanilla powder)
    Fyldet (Topping):
    250g smør/margarine (Butter/Margarine)
    200g kokosmel (coconout flour/flakes)
    500g brun farin (Brown Sugar)
    1 dl mælk (Milk)
    Dansk vejledning:
    Æg og sukker piskes til en tyk masse.
    Mel, bagepulver og vaniljepulver blandes med æggemassen
    Smelt smør/margarine og hæld mælken i, hvorefter det blandes forsigtigt i dejen, der hældes op i en bradepande med bagepapir
    Bages i en forvarmet ovnen, og på den midterste rille ved 200 grader i ca.20 min
    Imens kagen bager laves fyldet, smelt smør/margarine i en gryde og put kokosmel og brun farin i gryden, når det er nogenlunde smeltet hældes 1 dl mælk i gryden.
    Når kagen er bagt, fordeles fyldet straks på kagen.
    Kagen sættes igen ind i den varme ovn ved 225 grader og bages ca. 5 minutter

    English guidance:
    The eggs and sugar are whisked into a thick mass.
    The flour, baking powder and vanilla powder is mixed into the egg mass.
    Melt the butter/margarine and pour the 2 dl of milk into the dough and then mix gently.
    Then you pour the dough into a baking pan with a sheet of baking paper.
    Bake the dough in the middle of a preheated oven oven at 200C/392F degrees for aproximately 20 minutes.
    While the cake is in the oven, prepare the toppings by heating the butter/margarine in a pot. Put the brown sugar and coconut flour into the pan, and when it's melted pour 1 dl of milk into the pan.
    Put the toppings on the cake when it's done baking.
    The cake is then put back into the oven at 225C/437F degrees for aproximately 5 minutes.
