      Thanks Tom! Yeah once I got in the air the birds came at it so fast! I tried to fly away to get them away from the drone. After that I figured I might as well get the shot. Landing was a little scary, but yeah was very lucky!

    Is that swing bridge always in the open position? I drove through St. Joe on Saturday the 21st, and it was open. Do they even use that line anymore? Great shots of the grain train, river dredge barge, the city and of I-29!

      Thanks for the compliment! From what I understand there is an industry on the other side of the river that they actually do need to use the bridge. I will have to do some more research and make sure I am correct on that.

      @@docgrommesh3567 As far back as I can remember (this goes back to the 70's) that bridge has always been in that position whenever I have driven by it. On the other hand, you've probably seen it more than I have.

      The bridge doesn't have a full time operator on duty, that's why it always remains in the open (river traffic position) and is closed only when needed for rail access.
