This has to be one of the first demos that can be considered first wave of black metal or teutonic thrash metal. Same year as Hellhammers demos. Unfortunately they did not make much stuff. Other unknown and forgotten bands are Törr from Chzech and Holy Moses from Germany. Did Euronymous know this demo?
Or, the ANTICHRIST from Canada. Or the Antichrist Trax on a comp. Not sure of date. Maybe 1988? Anyways, was side thrash noise with members of Unseen Terror. And maybe : Blind Surgeon? It's fukkin killer. And kinda funny. And Groundbreaking thrash/grind/punk? It's a compilation, though with Unseen Terror & spastic blur or And blind surgeon? Somewhere between 1987 and 1990 I assume. Lmk if anyone finds out! Needs a re-issue! Thanxxxx!
I doubt so. Quorthon was mainly influenced by punk, Sabbath, nwobhm. He never mentioned these guys and he already wrote and recorded all of his songs by 83. And he doesn't sound like this dude
@@Annihilation_0f_The_Wicked9066 I don't have an informed opinion as to Quorthon's awareness of / influence by this; I wasn't there, I have no idea. But Quorthon continued to write and record albums up until Nordland 2 in 2003. So...considerably past 1983.
I think these are the guys that absolutely murdered the hippie generation more or less lol
Worthy observation!
I'm no longer able to access this account due to losing my phone at the recent L.A. Whiplash show. Cheers \,,/

Wow tons of this stuff made it into the second wave of black metal
It's literally Hellhammer imitation.
@@sothis1448 This came out the same year.
@@justsomedudeyouknow8372 So?
@@sothis1448 How is it a hellhammer imitation if it came out the same year?
@@justsomedudeyouknow8372 Do you realise there are 365 days in a year?
That intro solo should be on a video game

My first thought was very cool but not from 81
Technically a d-beat
punk metal - the instrumentation is very close to punk, but the vocals are very heavy metal. It's amazing, actually.
Just goes to show how important punk was to the development of Black Metal
