Lol reminds me of a dress that i dyed geodes on recently. I had to be really careful about where i put them. I remember thinking, it would be just my luck that I'll get a geode for each boob or one right on my butt. Haha! I like those sweats a lot!!!!
I’ve seen those geodes in the Facebook groups. Two perfect circles right on eat breast. I just assumed whoever is doing that was doing it deliberately like the vulva and penis shirts. I’m with you, I personally don’t want nipples on my shirts if I can avoid it. It’s ok, the sweats are hilariously awful. ❤️🌈

Hey Steph!!! I know you’re disappointed but you’re color choices were great! Also, just a little hack for the pilling, if you take a razor like a disposable one, if you run that along the pants almost like you’re shaving your legs it will take the pilling right off 😁
Hi, Riah! I feel like you told me that once before, maybe not, but it makes sense. I hurt my back and hands really bad helping my 89 year old neighbor removing a tree stump. I was trying to stop her from hurting herself and completely threw out my back and blistered my hands. No good deed goes unpunished. I'm jonesing to create tie dye. Hi, Katie, I was eye rolling big time. It did work though. The pilling was minimal. It's 100% not practical. Next time I think I will go with a scrunch pattern.

I would't say they are hard.... but as we see dye placement is very important and they require more time and product.

Sometimes it boils down to you get what you pay for. These weren’t the most expensive but not the least either. I’ve had good luck on Jiffy.com I bought a couple hoodies and the quality is excellent. They were $25+ but zero pilling. I went with a side hustle on these and I got burned. ❤️🌈
I could not find the video with thick water and thickened black spiral, so I'm going to post this here and hope that you get it.
The item that you are referring to as a microwave gaurd is actually called a cloche.( Klosh ) It's used frequently in the culinary scene so that plates can be prepared and stacked one on top of another in banquet situations, and if not in the banquet situation then it's also used frequently to keep the food warm waiting for the rest of the order. I hope this helps, and I love watching everything that you do. I just started out tie dying so it's all still a little bit challenging for me.

I like them. I don’t like the pilling either but I think they look nice. I wouldn’t have known they are wrong if you didn’t say anything. You pleated a wavy line and you got a wavy line. I’m scared to try anything like this because mine wouldn’t even look half as good as yours. P.S I love to look at my ice too.

These could be re-dyed. They could be stripped with out white bright, or I could scrunch them with more deep space… but honestly I doubt I will. The material is so cheap it’s not worth the hassle. Although, that would be a good learning tutorial. 🤔 I’ll have to think about that for a minute…. hmmm, what to do, what to do? ❤️🌈

Funny, I just did a wavy line design on a t-shirt in yellow and green. It’s batching now. I just think the sweatpants were too bulky to do the pattern justice.

Ha! How did you know I've been handed sweat pants to dye and I'm completely stumped how to go about it? Appreciate the ideas on how to go about this, I've been stumped! Soaking and spinning this beast is going to be a nightmare lol. I now have a countertop ice maker too, I just couldn't get enough from my freezer. Little sucker doesn't hold much but I can keep emptying it :) Any chance washing that inside out might help with the pilling?
If you can get yourself a Panda spin dryer I highly recommend it. It works really well and you can reuse the soda ash. I wouldn't even attempt sweats without the help of a spin dryer. It takes the fun out of tie dyeing trying to wring tings by hand. If I were to do sweats again I would do a simple scrunch... The pilling is going happen no matter what with this particular brand, it is inferior. I've dyed other "sweats" type items with zero issue.
@@BelladonnaDyesCo yup, the spin dryer has been in use nearly a year now! A scrunch isn’t a bad idea, still pondering how this is going to be done. I’m trying something with fluorescent silk screen ink now but I’ll get to the sweats soon. These are really nice ones too!
With the dye placement, would it be better to mark the wave line in the opposite direction to not get the G string effect?

My mother said the same thing! Got a chuckle out of it. As long as she wears them for pajamas it’s not an issue. Im considering re-dyeing them for a lesson on how to salvage a project. Maybe. The material is so cheap it might not be worth it. 🤷♀️❤️🌈

Aw the love hate relationship I don’t hate them you’re right about the crotch placement I’ve done several short pants and a pair of jeans and your voice kept popping in my head be careful of the crotch placement I had to add dye on one pair because I got absolutely no Color on the crotch because you scared me but it still worked thanks for everything✌️
I, of all people should have known better. I lost the orientation of my pattern by rushing. This is how we learn though. Trial and error. I won’t make this mistake twice. I hope this saves others from making the same mistake. ❤️🌈
What is pilling? I tiedye and have had tons of issues
Pilling is the little fuzzy balls we get on our sweaters. I have no clue what causes it. I think it comes from the fabric rather than the dyeing process. I use a shaver to clean things up. Here’s the link. ❤️🌈amzn.to/45kxoq8

You are too funny! I laughed out loud when you started talking about the dye placement going up the rear. I was listening with my headphones and had to let my husband hear what I was laughing about. He also got a laugh! Thanks for the warning on that brand. I HATE pilling! I would also be upset like you and for them to tell the customer that they need to be washed alone is just plain stupid! It’s an inferior product and they should’ve refunded your money.
I try to be politically correct. My mom said she got a kick out of my explanation too. I was really upset with the distributor of the product. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say. She has twenty years of experience versus my one year so I was dismissed. She still sells on Facebook and I cannot endorse her.
