The Edge of the Land brought me to your wonderful music back in 2022 when I heard you on BBC Radio WM a couple of days before your performance at the Moseley Folk and Arts Festival. Ever since I have been loving everything what I keep finding you have done.
Sadly I couldn't go and see you at Moseley as by chance the next day I was travelling to Skipsea the day after for a few days of which was very fitting because I had The Edge of the Land playing in my head as a soundtrack to my visit of beautiful East Riding. I never got as far over as Spurn Point, only Withernsea and also Hull of which were so lovely to visit, not just for the sightsts of the City but also the friendly and wonderful people from there.
Thank you for being my favourite musical discovery of that year. I haven't felt so enraptured by a song such as The Edge of the Land since I first heard Northern Sky by Nick Drake back in the mid 1990's on BBC Radio 2 one Saturday morning on Sounds of the Sixties.
It is a real treat to see these few songs of yours today on here!
I will look forward to seeing you play down in South Birmingham when you are on tour again.
