Thank you for your interest. Republic guitars offers two model that are designed just for lefties. Furthermore, they will convert any single cone for you too. Free of charge. Check em out. Enjoy.
such a soulful performance and looks like almost nobody there is paying attention you truly deserve. carry on the spirit of good old music, this is truly amazing, thank you.
@Heahmount Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments. Maybe someday I will move into the Limelight, but for now, I am content to busk on the streets and teach guitar. Enjoy.
@Hiroshimaslim Thank you for your comment. This was a real fun gig. The gentleman who hired me, I met while performing on the subway platform. Apparently, his wife (a surprise birthday party for her) is a big fan of slide guitar and he wanted me to entertain his guests before they went to have dinner at Tavern on the Green. Enjoy.
Thank you for your questions. Contact Republic guitars and then tell Frank you are in the market for a lefty guitar. This guitar is the Duolian model and has a single cone. Most models only have one cone. It is the Tricone model that has 3 small cones. See my Instruments For Sale playlist for more demonstrations of the various models I currently own. Enjoy.
@Tailgun69 Thank you for your kind words. Right know I am content to play on the subway platforms, streets or at local festivals. I also spend a lot of time teaching therapeutic exercise (Tai Chi and Qi Gong). Maybe someday I will take my act on the road for real. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.

Started to listen blues just recently, and I think that this is Blues with big B. Hope to find something as good as this performance. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your interest and question. I learned the lyrics from another musician's performance a long time ago.Tampa Red was a wonderful artist. I would suggest listening to one of his CDs. Glad you are enjoying it. Definitely a fun song for "Cutting a Rug".
@kirbySfan Thank you for your comment and suggestion. All of these song are in Vestapol tuning (aka Open D). Although I only teach one song out of this performance (You Got to Move) on CD 1, I am quite sure by practicing the lessons you will be able to figure out most of what I am doing on the other songs. My CDs are designed mainly to teach you how to figure out and arrange song yourself. Enjoy.
Thank you for your interest and questions. There is no sandblasted etching on this guitar. It is made by republicguitars. The signature is from the son of the inventor of the resonator guitar, John Dopera. I had the opportunity to meet and interview him in his upstate NY home. Enjoy
@gregks08 LOL Thank you for your comment. Yes, Yes...I'm gotta put on my shirt and my t...i...e...Actually it clips on around back. LOL I want to get a real tie on one because I found a youtube video showing how to tie it. Unfortunately, they are a little more common down South. Eventually I will make my way to the Western store and pick one up. Enjoy.
Thank you for your interest and kind words. In this video, I am in Vestapol Tuning. Commonly played in the key of D: DADf#ad. Although, I frequently tune down a whole step for my voice. Enjoy.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I'm in Vestapol Tuning, but many times I will tune down a whole step to the key of C (CGCegc) for my voice. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.
