PEACE AMONGST THE PINES!
OUR STAY AT CAMPING 'LE BAS MEYGNAUD.' DORDOGNE. BRANTÔME. PERIGORD VERT.
We've made it to the Dordogne region, and our first area to visit is the Perigord-Vert, and the commune of Brantôme en Périgord.
We pitch up at a lovely small campsite in Valeuil- CAMPING 'LE BAS MEYGNAUD.' It's a Dutch owned site, with friendly owners, a relaxed feel, and a 'back to nature' vibe, nestled among lovely pines.
It's also an ideal spot to explore the area, with both Brantôme town - known as 'The Venice of the Perigord' - and the pretty village of Bourdeilles within easy reach by bike.
We had two quiet, relaxed nights here, and would definitely stay again!!

So did we! Very peaceful...very laid back...the guy in the office had no idea what we owed for fees when we went to pay. Threw out a number, asked if that was ok ..... I paid the guy more.... What we actually owed!! I love France!!😂😂
