I'm obsessed with this topic, because it's a total mind blower compared to the BS we were all fed at school about how you should work and live. Great show team. Well done Steph.
Success doesn't happen overnight. It's a marathon, not a sprint. You have to pace yourself, put in the work, and be consistent day in and day out if you want to achieve your goals.

Steph is great because she's wired for sound - she has bubbly energy overflowing - something that ya'll don't have - cause your personality is different. I tune in to see you and Shaan and I like you both and the flow - Steph is like throwing a toaster into your gene pool.
Already listened to it on Spotify but video podcasts hit different... it gives a feeling of being in the same room with the hosts... been binging on this podcast since a week now.
The idea that an advertised price must be honored is absolutely not true. It is basic contract law. The only time an advertiser has to honor an advertised price is if it is for a SPECIFIC, UNIQUELY DESIGNATED UNIT. E.g. if I am selling Toyota Camrys for $10,000 and invite you to come buy one of the many we have, I do not have to honor that price. I am not legally bound. We have not entered into a contract. However if I advertise an offer on a certain Camry, such as by VIN, and designate a price for THAT UNIT, it must be honored and the advertised offer can be legally enforced.
Sam, regarding the conversation around 34 mins in: ideas aren't property, it makes no sense to apply the same "property rights" laws to them unless you want to permanently stall innovation.
great vod topic but what would have helped is if you and Steph posted ur screenshots picture in picture so we could see what you two were so excited about
We will talk about the intro song later but Steph was fire 🔥🔥🔥 I loved her from the first episode she did and she did not disappoint, I couldn't keep up with all the websites she was giving..... Now for the intro song, bring back the old one, why did you have to change it😭
This video just blew my mind! If you have shared your screen, this video would've been even better. Steph is freaking awesome for sharing all this in a single video!
The social contract with copyright is that creators get protection for a certain period of time and then the public commons gets to benefit from the work. The problem with copyright isn't that it expires, it's that it is far too long. Both copyright and patents need to be reformed and returned to shorter terms.
To give some background, Milne's 1926 book is in the public domain, but changes to Winnie-the-Pooh, the character, from the original 1926 book are still under copyright protection
33:55 copyright last 70 years after the death of the creator. And this is exactly why WD40 has no patent nobody can copy their product and it will never fall in public domain
This is a great episode to force the question: Do I need a team to make 7 figures? I have a client who bills 7 figures a year and has zero staff, it definitely can be done
So, with "builtwith" business, the data is obviously such a value. How does one go about selling that data? Is their a middle man somewhere that connects those kind of deals, or is it like cold calling companies you think would be interested? fb ads targeted to people who are interested in that? Seems like something you wouldn't want to wave in your customers face.
Thanks for this interesting episode! I would like to know how do they get access to financial or other technical details for each company they mentioned?
Would be great if you shared one person's screen who was driving while visiting each site that was being mentioned. We had to search it ourselves and for future views, they may not be looking at what you're talking about if a site gets updated. Keep up the happy hustle :)
I have an idea for a website/ app I want to build but I’ve no previous experience in development. Where would be the best play to go to learn? The concept is basic so I don’t think I’d need a dev team
How can a beginner learn where to start? I'm a functional medicine/alternative doctor that would love to learn more about creating a business like the ones above. Where is the best place to start? I find myself confused on where to begin not being in the tech world.
23:07 It looks like the guy from Headlime did a fake testimonial of Sam, and it's still on the website. It's funny, but I don't trust people that cross lines so shamefully.
Steph was amazing! Bring her back soon!
Dude this is awesome. I love the content about million dollar businesses with no employees. Really helps open my eyes.
I'm obsessed with this topic, because it's a total mind blower compared to the BS we were all fed at school about how you should work and live. Great show team. Well done Steph.

Wow! I enjoyed this episode soooo much!! It held my attention the whole way. Was busy cooking and cleaning the kitchen or I'd've been taking notes.

Great episode. You guys need to more of these types of episodes.

can we have the site to where the glitch sites are and their facebook page are also? thanks
Why didn’t you share your screen for this episode?
Be careful following the NextEpisode links. It goes to very spammy sites if you get the address wrong without the dash in there.
Such great website suggestions. Thanks Steph and Sam!
