Reading the last chapter (or part, idrk) of A Little Life and bawling my eyes out to this. The last time I cried this hard was 3 years ago when my friend left the country. I love it and I hate it at the same time when words on a page make me feel this much; it makes me feel both weak and empowered, hopeless and hopeful for change. I know there is alot of controversy around this book, but personally I am so grateful for a chance to read something like this. It is one of the few books that have made me stop and really think and reflect on my life. Thank you for the background music ❤
I think about Jude thru everyday life “ And so I try to be kind to everything I see, and in everything I see, I see him “ is one of the most beautiful lines in that book . I carry that book deeply in my heart . Malcom , Jude , Jb & williem are engraved deeply in my soul . Such a sad book written in a beautiful yet tragic way . The ending took me 1 week just to finish the last 6 pages of that book .

Away from the ones who hate me and the ones who love me. But I can’t so I use this as a reality. One where it’s just me and books and stories. I started reading the death cure by James dashner and I have to say this playlist made that experience much calmer and nicer when you think about how harsh that book is. Its nice reading to this ♡

I just recently finished Astonishing Splashes of Colour by Clare Morrall, which I highly recommend. It’ll tug at your heartstrings, but also make you laugh and wonder and think. Thank you for this playlist! It’s been wonderful to read to and I’ll definitely be using it again for my morning routine 😊
