The mosque was founded in 859 by Fatima al-Fihri, daughter of the wealthy merchant Mohammed Al-Fihri. She had vowed to use all of her inheritance to build a mosque for her community, who had immigrated from Kairouan in the early 9th century. The name of the university means "University of the people of Kairouan".
Ballshit, there is no actual link between the Tunisian kairawan and the karawiyin of Fes Morocco Also, there is no actual proof of the existence of Fatima al fihri after the foundation of the university, she only appears 300 years later suddenly.
The atlas lion thankfully is not extinct because the previous king kept some under the surveillance (they were gifts to him) and when they were totally gone and people tho none are left he brought them to specialists to take care of them
Thé lions live in national zoo ans UK it is about 50 not hybride becouse before that thé last couples live un royale palace so to preserit gave thème to zoo

Hello, I am a new Moroccan in your esteemed channel. I hope that you will try Moroccan food, and I am sure that you will love it. I wish you more brilliance 🇲🇦❤🇺🇲
There are a lot of sweet and salty dishes in Morocco but one of them is "lhem bl bargog" which is like cooked seasoned meat with dried peaches and it's so good the meat just melt in your mouth
i am really happy that you guys are learning about my country , by the way I'm saying hi from Casablanca and about the food your reaction is very normal because you've never tried any dishes , i want to invite you if you ever wanted to come over i would love to invite you over to our home for a Moroccan feast

amazing! face and neck tatto is common in Ethiopian rural areas we call it "nek'sat" cant beleav its tipicaly the same i was like wow this much similarity? i saw other video once that compare Morocco music vs Ethiopian music and i see our music instrument is the approximately the same, now the tattoos wow a good lesson
Loved the food and the mint tea was addictive:). The Berbers were lovely folks but I have a lot of issues with other aspects🤷🏼♀️. The Saudi Muslims we ran into while there were awful. One was yelling at my husband for taking photos of vegetables in a cart because there were women nearby? We never take photos of folks unless we ask or know it’s acceptable. This attitude was pervasive. In many cafés, women were to drink and eat hidden in a separate room. We sat outside at one and a man came up yelling at our waiter because I was sitting there. It’s better in the tourist areas but I was angry throughout our trip.
For people wondering about the sweet and salt mix I invite you to try out sea-salt chocolate and you won’t go back to normal chocolate once the sweet-saltiness is tasted, you don’t think it’s a great combination until you try it.
Welcome to Morocco! though I just want to make things clear here and I think many people don't know this: We Moroccans call ourselves Arabs Or Amazigh, But NEVER Berber. Berber is the name the colonizers called us because they thought that our ancestors are barbarians due to their way of defending our country against them. So the name Berber or Berbers is kind of an insult to us
THIS IS MOROCCO : A 12 century nation WITH roots in Africa leaves in Europe AND two communities leaving in peace Jews and Muslims- GOD BLESS MOROCCO 🇲🇦
You link the history of Morocco to the Arab invasion, and we Amazigh celebrate the Amazigh year, which extends for 3000 years, meaning 30 centuries, and we are not a herd belonging to the Arabs.
