Probably just random luck that these songs happen to have similar harmonic structures and chord progressions. Ghost Astley Tokyo was an eerie example of how perfect the melody could mix with a different instrumental background with minor to zero edits.
Quite a few YOASOBI/Ayase songs have similar chord progressions and harmonics (Ghost Town Tokyo, Yoru ni kakeru, Halcyon etc.) so they match up really nicely
