In the first level I was like "damn why're all these people out for Pinocchio's blood just let him go to school!" but I guess I can't blame them when he's running around on roofs and breaking shit
Back in 1990, Virgin made awesome Disney games... I remember The Lion King, The Jungle Book and Aladdin... I wish I had played this one as a child too. Vibrant colours and artwork, fluid animation and nice musics!

Ah, so memorable game! One of the latest games my family got me. Since I loved trains and railroad so much - the roller coaster level was extraordinarily satisfying! The game was pretty easy to beat. With levels were longer. Loved to wonder around the first level so much! Letting the cat hit himself with a flying boot was beyond funny! P.S. the level with cliffs and shadow creatures was scary! They always freaked me out when they appear out of nowhere!
At 37:05, when Geppetto falls in the water, you can let him alone and hide in the cavern, instead of help him. But if you do it, screen turns into black and you hear Monstro coming...

This fact is really vicious because during this level, hitboxs aren't clear, so when you succeed the level, you don't want to die in water. As a kid, i was in a state of stress... But... you must do it. Best proof of Courage.

So was this developed by Bit Managers or Virgin Studios London? Cause Bit Managers is a Spanish developer, so they can't be the same (like Probe being Acclaim London).
While a beautiful game to look at, I feel the level design follows the trend of a lot of western made games at the time, no clear idea where to go, maybe get lucky to eventually find your way to the end of a stage by trial and error. In other words, level design is messy as hell.

In the real story Pinocchio was a menace and the people tried to kill him by hanging I believe.
