Wow, fantastic! I am so grateful for your love for the scripture. The anointed speaker, (narrator) is a blessing to listen to. Hebrews one of the greatest books in the New Testament! Thank you. May God continually bless you!

What made you chose the NET translation? I was sleeping and I heard in my head to get this translation. Weird for sure.

@wildrover9650 Its a great modern translation and they allow it to be shared freely. Also, the notes are extensive and scholarly. So, less opinions and more contextual information and things like explanations on why they translated a verse one way instead of the other.
So many people love the Bible they grew up with so much, that they forget it is a translation, and that Biblical archeologists have found so many better older original manuscripts since many of the other Bibles were translated.
So, they wonder why a new translation makes a decision, and they are tempted to call it heresy or something. But, translation is a process, and those who love it respect it, and its not about agendas its about making a decision of a translation between two different languages and cultures separated by milllenia. There is so much to the discipline of textual critcism, like the movie "the Case for Christ" shows a little of, that for anyone to judge a translation without understanding it just takes away what we can learn from these skilled exacting translators.
And NET tells why in the notes in the middle of the verses, so it is an enriching spiritual experience and a satisfying mental one :)
Thanks for watching, and I wonder, if you have checked out any NET notes and if you enjoy what they do to illuminate the linguistic context.
