Thank you so much, this was so helpful didn't have to go threw every fuse to see which one was burnt out, saved me alit of time and headaches, don't know why this cars don't come.with a guest diagram
The number printed on fuses represent the amp , so the fuse is designed to handle limited current for specific functions and in case there was a surge current; the fuse will burn opening the circuit rather than damaging the critical/ expensive gadgets.
Thank you so much , I had the same trouble with my 2011 Jetta SEL , some people out there told me that I need to replace a module ( like a 500 bucks ) and just found your video and made it …..its working again thank you for sharing ….
@@fernandvdg8368 hey there, so I still can’t find a picture of the fuse box 😑 but I found this blog. Hope it helps www.justanswer.com/vw-volkswagen/8aa76-volkswagen-jetta-se-need-fuse-box-diagram-2011-volkswagen.html
Mayra...Thanks. Your information is so great.. Did you replace the fuse with 10 amp on the row 2 at slot number 6? By the way, do you have the fuse box diagram layout ?
I also have a 2014 Jetta VW with headlights randomly out. I found my fuse box but I’m not sure which fuse it is? Do you still have the diagram?? Pls & thank you.
I just got pulled over tonight with my car for this issue. I'm thinking its cuz I left my window open during a snowstorm. Just barely cracked for a cigarette and snow found it's way in there. So my geuss is moisture to cause a short ?
Thank you very easy to follow. Found the picture of the inside fuse box and its layout. However, it doesn't include what fuse goes to what. Did you include that? Also, I am having a problem with my 2012 Jetta. The A/C is blowing cool, Not Cold. I read somewhere that it might be the fuse that needs to be replaced, instead of a $1600 compressor. Can anyone tell me where the A/C fuse is located in this vehicle?
This is a year late, but have you just tried recharging your A/C. You can buy a can that you connect to your vehicle and it adds the coolant. I believe its freon.
I have to add I have a 2014 Jetta, same issue, i spent the last yr without ac cuz i didnt wanna pay 1800! I refilled my AC and still it did not work. the fuse for the AC is in the fuse panel under the hood replace it is 30A all i know (no idea where so thats all i can tell you) then replace the blower motor resistor not the blower motor THE RESISTOR. that fixed it for me
Can anyone help please I have a 2011 VW jetta im having problems with my driver side rear tail lights they're not work brake light works turn signal light works but the running light dont work i tried replacing the bulb and still noting i even cleaned the connector still nothing btw my trunk light and interior lights work

John Henry glad it helped, some guy said that the problem was not the fuse it self but what caused the fuse to blow up in the first place. So far it’s been 2 years and my taillights are still working.
I changed the fuse yet it still didn't work. I'm sure the issue isn't with the bulbs because its only the right running light that doesn't work. I don't know if its the wires
2017 Jetta S here, checked every single fuse - everything - still the same issue Interior, trunk & running brake lights all went out. 2nd day of owning car after having it dropped off from Carvana. Im about to blow up
Unfortunately, you get what you pay for with VW. I just hope mine last a couple of more years. Did you try replacing the fuse with a brand new one? Since I replaced it, it has been working just fine.
