Many fans probably don’t like him bc he’s pretty much the sole reason why the plot is so confusing in the first place with all his alternate selves and him time traveling Everyone knows once time traveling gets involved the plot just automatically becomes complicated If time travel plots are utilized well then it makes for a very interesting story but if they are not used well then it will definitely be confusing and a jumbled mess I admit the plot is definitely confusing even to a long time fan like myself and there are plot holes galore but that’s one of the main reasons why I keep playing the series bc the lore just keeps growing with each new game Anyway I personally love his character he’s very interesting, deep, and his motives are somewhat understandable There’s a reason he’s been the main villain of the franchise for almost 20 years it’s because he’s a good villain
@@yungbreezy36 If you’re referring to a villain like Griffith from Berserk for example then yes I agree that his motives being completely unknown adds a great deal of mysterious intrigue to his character as opposed to a villain that is constantly monologuing their ideas, plans, ideals, etc. like Aizen from Bleach , Light from Death Note, Zamasu from Dragonball Super to name some examples of anime villains who constantly monologue their motives A villain’s motives being known and understandable just makes them usually more relatable and sympathetic towards the audience and the protagonists in a story plus will also make the audience less confused about what’s going on in the story When you know nothing of the villain’s motives it makes them distant and unpredictable which is a major part of what makes a good villain I agree with that however having their motives being understandable does not make for a bad villain For a long time Xehanort’s ultimate TRUE motives were mysterious and unclear to us and to Sora I didn’t say his motives were understandable I said “kind of” as we never knew ALL he wanted to achieve and his reasoning behind his goals It was obvious his Heartless (Ansem) wanted darkness and destruction typical evil villain motives however the Ansem Reports added much more to his character implying him as an intelligent scientist kind of character who experiments with ideologies His motives are ultimately complex and well thought out with all his “vessels” , Organization 13, Kingdom Hearts itself, and he even involved his younger self with time travel to complete his goals He was actually extremely successful with his accomplishments as many times he almost achieved his goals until either Sora , Riku, or the Seven Lights stopped him Of course at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3 and Dream Drop Distance is when his goals were on the verge of being complete For him to get as far as he did is a GREAT achievement as a villain with so many people to oppose him Don’t forget about the Great Keyblade War where ultimately he won in the end by obtaining Terra’s body I consider Terra, Aqua, and Ven’s battle with Xehanort and Vanitas as a continuation of the Great Keyblade War in a way but obviously on a much smaller scale so yeah in a way Xehanort finally won the battle at the end of Birth by Sleep It all came to a head at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3 with of course Sora and friends ultimately finally defeating him and Xehanort redeeming himself as he gave up his Keyblade to retire and live the rest of his life in peace I found his character arc and conclusion to be very satisfying overall as it was a very long road full of twists and turns a lot of which were unpredictable even though we DID come to know about his major motives eventually near the end of his character arc He kept us on edge the whole time he appeared because we never knew what he was going to do next to Sora , Riku, and everybody else For Xehanort to start off as a young Keyblade Master in training at Scala Ad Caelum (Forgot the spelling of it) after originating from Destiny Islands then eventually becoming corrupted by darkness similar to the way Riku was makes him actually very relatable to Terra and Riku especially since they shared similar fates of corruption with all 3 of them ultimately redeeming themselves at the end of each of their character arcs It will be an immense challenge to try to come up with a new villain for the Kingdom Hearts series that is as good as him if not better

So he turned into a Douche after he was good friends with Eraquas? Haha…really a quick slide there. Another thing, did they mean for him to sound like he had anhedonia? He sounds exactly like a point in my life where I was sounding exactly like him. Showing no emotion in speech and just a little bit of arrogance. If that’s what they were going for they were successful.
Yeah, I think that was the point. He is the most obnoxious of the Xehanorts because he is meant to be an edgy 16 year-old kid, who has surely seen some messed up stuff, but can overreact and overthink. The meeting with MoM is the perfect example.
Hearing Ben Diskin is always a treat.
Eddie Brock aka Venom from The Spectacular Spider-Man
Numbah 1???

A villain’s motives being known and understandable just makes them usually more relatable and sympathetic towards the audience and the protagonists in a story plus will also make the audience less confused about what’s going on in the story
When you know nothing of the villain’s motives it makes them distant and unpredictable which is a major part of what makes a good villain I agree with that however having their motives being understandable does not make for a bad villain
For a long time Xehanort’s ultimate TRUE motives were mysterious and unclear to us and to Sora
I didn’t say his motives were understandable I said “kind of” as we never knew ALL he wanted to achieve and his reasoning behind his goals
It was obvious his Heartless (Ansem) wanted darkness and destruction typical evil villain motives however the Ansem Reports added much more to his character implying him as an intelligent scientist kind of character who experiments with ideologies
His motives are ultimately complex and well thought out with all his “vessels” , Organization 13,
Kingdom Hearts itself, and he even involved his younger self with time travel to complete his goals
He was actually extremely successful with his accomplishments as many times he almost achieved his goals until either Sora , Riku, or the Seven Lights stopped him
Of course at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3 and Dream Drop Distance is when his goals were on the verge of being complete
For him to get as far as he did is a GREAT achievement as a villain with so many people to oppose him
Don’t forget about the Great Keyblade War where ultimately he won in the end by obtaining Terra’s body
I consider Terra, Aqua, and Ven’s battle with Xehanort and Vanitas as a continuation of the Great Keyblade War in a way but obviously on a much smaller scale so yeah in a way Xehanort finally won the battle at the end of Birth by Sleep
It all came to a head at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3 with of course Sora and friends ultimately finally defeating him and Xehanort redeeming himself as he gave up his Keyblade to retire and live the rest of his life in peace
I found his character arc and conclusion to be very satisfying overall as it was a very long road full of twists and turns a lot of which were unpredictable even though we DID come to know about his major motives
eventually near the end of his character arc
He kept us on edge the whole time he appeared because we never knew what he was going to do next to Sora , Riku, and everybody else
For Xehanort to start off as a young Keyblade Master in training at Scala Ad Caelum (Forgot the spelling of it) after originating from Destiny Islands then eventually becoming corrupted by darkness similar to the way Riku was makes him actually very relatable to Terra and Riku especially since they shared similar fates of corruption with all 3 of them ultimately redeeming themselves at the end of each of their character arcs
It will be an immense challenge to try to come up with a new villain for the Kingdom Hearts series that is as good as him if not better

I’m happy you have some self love
From Dark Road, I learned that Young Xehanort was 16 years old (and, in case you don't believe me, Riku had a sudden growth spurt when he turned 16).
1:26:30 When you’re messing around with the timeline and realize you caused Xehanort’s voice to change, lol
Xemnas is the best xehanort descendant in looks
Interestingly Xemnas is like Xehanort and Terra’s lovechild. Gosh I can’t believe I even said that.😂
Xemnas has Terra features, nothing like Xehanort.
The toy Story World being a big tease of sora being separater from his friends in Quadratum ....was so good
Young Xehanort I like
so easily you sink into the depths of slumber

Finally someone who made this.
I wonder if even Joshua knew about young xehanort
He probably did and said, "Nah. He isn't my trouble "
@@omgxab2223 Ultima was a bigger threat than Xehanort from his perspective.

No. When he Was 18 hat met MoM. A year later he returns to DI and travels into the future. When he returns he goes see the Master again
