    The band are obviously unbelievably good, but Mike's solo is just out of this world, next level good... absolutely fantastic stuff all round!

    MAN! MIKE! FUCK! just sheer brilliance on this gem. I have listened to ALOT of Brecker( MICHAEL) but HERE! he was technically FLAWLESS. in the zone and RANDY stepped it up . the poor man had to take a solo AFTER his BROTHER . DAMN. he did show up though.

    I'm a sax player and worship Mike Brecker. His solo here is characteristic. But this is also a good example of how underappreciated Randy Brecker is. Is there a better trumpet player of his generation? These two are both just amazing.

      It’s kind of like Alex Van Halen, an outstanding drummer, being overshadowed by his ridiculously brilliant and groundbreaking brother Eddie. Same with randy and mike. Randy is a phenomenal player who gets overshadowed by his brother who happens to be the greatest ever on his instrument.

      Yes it’s hard to play an instrument anyway and it’s hard for brass to hold its own with saxes there’s no biases here but technically a challenge and musicallity on top a big ask I just love both their playing

    Killing it. Wow, I love the brecker brothers! Had the opportunity to meet Randy in Utah at a Jazz festival. What a cool hang. Also got to sit behind them while they rehearsed. True artists! Hope to play with this much conviction and confidence one day.
