This is the second house I copied from your plan. The first house was the small one you built and this one I decided to make it a small tavern. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hey bud maybe you can help me with something. I’m m trying to to snap to a foundation with another foundation at ground level but as soon as I get close it just snaps to the full height. I play on Xbox 1 do you know if I can hook up keyboard and mouse to the Xbox. It may help to have a mouse to lower and raise the foundation height. Please advise
Appreciate the extra care you put into your explanations, like pulling back to give an overview and fading out between major build steps. It really helps folks to follow along, but also go at their own pace.
This is an awesome build. I'd like to copy this for my villa. Also, I have to say, your choice of background music is spot on. Well done one the build and on the production.
@2:14 when you have multiple corner pillars it's faster to place ceilings on top of the just added pillar and work from there. So you dont have to do the pillar trick on every corner. Hope you understand my explanation 😀
You are absolutely correct! I figured repeating the process, especially for someone who is new to the trick, would help them remember how to do it after seeing it done several times ha.
@@DrB048 ye i understand that! Luckily we are able to place pillars on corners with this method it creates a lot of extra possibilities and has a great additional optical aspect
I’m not gonna lie, I just started building a small village for my clan and I’ve been taking inspiration from your builds I stole your most basic small house look tho 👀 But yea keep up the good work
Players building without mods will have issues with placing windows and doorways facing the right way if they build flotsam pillars first. The flotsam pillars collision box I too large, and interferes with certain pieces, whereas the stable pillars won't. That's the only reason to start with the stable ones.
so, I watched this build.. absolutely enjoyed it! However, I am a little confused about the purpose near the beginning where you placed vaulted ceilings THEn replaced them with normal ceilings, then later put the vaulted one right back... I am sure you gained something there that I am failing to see.
Good Question! So I preplaced my vaulted ceilings originally to make sure they were rotated properly where the backs of the vaulted ceilings were facing outward. Once they were placed I replaced them with the regular ceilings. By doing so, this gives me the ability to connect arena doorframes to the underneath of the ceilings. Once the doorframes were placed I can then go back through and replace the ceilings with the vaulted ceilings, not having to worry about them facing the wrong direction. This gives a unique look using the curvature of the doorframes and the backs of the vaulted ceilings to fill in the gap of the doorway. Check out the video around the 7:46 marker for a visual. Hope this helps!
Did you try using stable pillars first? Normally stable pillars won't obstruct sloped wall placement. Once the sloped wall is placed you can then change out the stable pillar with the pillar you want.
I'm sorry i'm just so confused here.. You started with arena ceilings. then vaulted ceilings, then switched all the vaulted ones back to arena ceilings? i must be missing something here but it seems like you did all of that for nothing? correct me if i'm wrong please, i'm just incredibly confused lol
Back when this was recorded you couldn't rotate a piece when replacing another piece. For the build I had to connect pillars to the vaulted ceiling pieces to provide support to the structure, however pillars don't snap to vaulted ceiling pieces initially. So in order to get the vaulted ceiling pieces to snap to the pillars and having them face in the correct direction, I had to place the pieces in the order seen in the video. Now with the update you can just place your pillar/ceiling pieces first, then attach the doorframes to the bottom of the ceiling pieces, then you can go and replace the ceiling pieces with vaulted ceiling pieces.
@@DrB048 oh wow 😂 this game has come a long way. Regardless of that confusion initially i ended up finishing the house, what a lovely build it turned out to be, very cozy. Thank you for the tutorial

What a tiny little jewel of a house. Great work.
Yo pensaba que era bueno construyendo en Conan Exiles hasta que he visto este vídeo. Increíble construcción, bien explicado, bien editado... 10/10
The vaulted ceilings... so smart I like the idea

Small builds like this gem are better for your channel I think, more doable for most people so it attracts more eyes ;)
I just need to pump out speed builds of these. I could probably do 1 a day lol
@@DrB048 probably yeah lol
@@DrB048 yes pls!!!! 👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
I love this build. Now with the new turanian pillars, no need to do the stair trick. Unless of course you want to use different pillars lol
awesome building skill, and description.
Wow Barden you have done it again..Your the BEST
It's all luck

If only you knew the amount of luck that goes into these lol.

Build more small houses like this one!! I love it 😍😍 Congrats mate!! I want to build a village with some of those 😜
Sweet build 🤘. Love the narrated videos.
Love your creativity
I love this so much, Barden!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!
Thanks Jordee! More tiny houses are in the works! :)
Can't wait to see! 💜
Really great build. Loved it.
i like it! so cozy. + turtle im sold!
Love it even to this day! appreciate your effort😁
Love your tiny house 🏡 and great video
You just got a new sub here 👍🎊🎉🍾
Awesome tiny house man!!
Another great build!
Another house added to my city! Thanks!
Thanks Bro!! Another Awesome Build!!
BEAUTIFUL
Wow I love it, definitely using this, Thank you.
Very nice, thank you!
Awesome and I learned things
Looks nice although looks like you made it look more complex than it needed to be, could have just used foundations at the start
You can, that just prevents you from putting pillars on the corners, unless you are using mods.
I’m not gonna lie, I just started building a small village for my clan and I’ve been taking inspiration from your builds I stole your most basic small house look tho 👀
But yea keep up the good work
Steal away!
Very well done
Very cool dude!
Очень круто, по идее можно взять как проект реального дома.
I need to get that piller trick down. Many of your videos use this advanced building technique. My ADD brain starts smoking when I try to do
I get carried away with the pillars sometimes! 😆
pillar trick is sometimes glitchy for me. when i delete the 2nd set of stairs my added pillar(s) disappear.
I like the pillar trick
It is a game changer
Fuc..... Awesome Man 🥰😍♥️
Cool story, I just have one question. Why not build flotsam pillars in the first place instead having to replace them? Seems a bit... inefficient.

The flotsam pillars collision box I too large, and interferes with certain pieces, whereas the stable pillars won't. That's the only reason to start with the stable ones.
Epic.
How about building a viking style burial tomb, without using a cave , using a rock mod , maybe shanti's build mod.
I like the idea of viking style structures, however I don't use mods on the channel.

Can’t place windows or a slanted corner piece. Won’t snap so I can’t finish and I followed exactly what you did

Turtle!
What are those shelves near the back door? :O I can't seem to find them in any crafting table
Those are shelves but I don't know if you can craft them in an artisan table. They might only be accessible through the admin panel.
It’s a recipe called nordheimer shelving. It can be found on top of the watchtower and only on isle of siptah
Do you have a parts list of how much of each item
Join my discord if you haven't already. I'm going to be adding in the build layouts with piece counts very soon.
How to have a turttle walking around?
You can find them walking around the beaches.

damn so you have to do a ton of tricks to build in this game?
Depends on what you're trying to do. It's nothing too crazy though. This game def has the best building mechanics of any survival game.
How to get in to this free birdview? Is it a mod?
I play on PC and can disable the hud
lol where the hell is that location?
Isle of siptah, along the coast, north of the central tower.
4:17 and 4:25 time stamps
nothing works, not a big thank you!❤❤
