    Tell me what you think!
Is First Class in the US pretty average, when you're flying domestically ?

Thanks for the shout out Gav, another superb video! I think Americans are used to what the service entails in a so called "first class" cabin on a domestic flight, but it's certainly much different from what you would expect in business or first class on other continents.
How did you find the CRJ700? It's missing from my logbook. I've flown the CRJ200 on Tyrolean from Edinburgh to Innsbruck and the CRJ900 from Ljubljana to Luton. They were quite cramped in the cabin but did make up for that in terms of airspeed.

I fly US First/Int Business quite a lot but it’s often on a through ticket to/from London so I’d have lounge access or get it via status. I do like the larger seats but on a 2hr flight from say Miami to Cancun it’s odd that you only get drinks and a snack basket whereas on a sub 1 hr flight to Newcastle you’d get a hot breakfast plus drinks from the bar but have smaller seats. I think US Domestic First is at its optimum on a flight from say NYC to Miami or Cancun which is around the 4hour mark so you get drinks and dinner and then lounge access with status or onward travel. The only thing I don’t like is if you are on a connecting flight and it’s late and you need to be rebooked. First Class is already full of the US carriers’ elite passengers so you get downgraded which isn’t the best.
