I also want to make a comment on Mike’s coming back. Your IBD Live and the Activetrade products become A LOT MORE educational! Mike shares many of the key reasons on “WHY” an action is taking. I have learned so much more. I used to be an on and off IBD live subscriber. Now I am a committed follower.
IBD is killing it with the videos, lately!

One challenge I have, the equites often takes a long time to go up 5% but quickly goes down 10%. When I’m cutting because a stock goes down -4% and I sell to prevent deeper losses, what happens is I end up collecting a bunch of -2% -3% -4% or more. However price moving above 5% is much less frequent and if I loose 4% that means I need to make %8 back. But this I also less frequent. So when I add them up, the cutting losses actually makes me loose more often then win because I’m constantly selling small portions at a loss.

Webby/Justin thanks for the video. I appreciate that your approach is first to educate. It helps me quite a bit. Mike, in regards the 21 day line, you frequently talk about the importance of a stock pricing above the 21 day, if the stock is above 21 day but the 21 day is below the 50 day, does that change the significance.

Thank you for this great status update video. I always learn something new when I watch the IBD videos and I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge so freely.
One idea is to have the closed trades chart zoomable. On the iPhone when I click to see the chart on past trades, it is not expandable (zoomable) so I cannot read it. My solution has been to screen shot it and use the image to zoom. I mostly trade on my phone so it would be a cool enhancement.
One question is are you trading real money in swing trader? If so what is your portfolio value? Thank you again see you tomorrow morning on IBD live.

I am trying SwingTrader but I feel like I’m missing some of the action because I am in Hawaii, 6 hours behind New York. I can only really trade the afternoon session from around 1 pm Eastern…. I’d love your thoughts on trading from this time zone…
Hi. I'm a new subscriber to IBD SwingTrader. I have a question about the best way to track trades when you are opening partial positions and then adding to them (multi-legs). Then, sometimes you sell a partial position and then eventually close it out. I have a spreadsheet that I use to track my trades. When I open a trade, I make the entry in the spreadsheet, then when I close it I make the closing entry and calc the P/L. My question is this: what is the best way to track trades with multiple legs to the trade? My broker does not do a good job with trading reports so it's up to me to figure out a way to see the complete picture of each trade. Thank you.
So if I take actions on all your alerts, that will be 100% of my positions, right? I like the changes and see hopes for better results. But I am also a bit confused on so many alerts and sometimes don’t know which alerts to take actions.

How do you listen to IBD live, during the market open. Should be before the open. Especially since , actually starts at 7am, or even 4am. Ridiculous.
