So I'm also in Charlotte NC, and I use Roadie all the time which I average about $2500 a month. What I have realized with Roadie is that they have made an entire business catering to drivers that are already going in a certain direction and would like to just make some money along the way. So if you already going to Winston Salem or through it, why not make some money. I have a small Cargo Van, so I mainly do the Home Depot and Walmart XL and Huge orders that pay very well. For example, Home Depot will pay you $40 to take a large item 5 minutes away, and they let you stack orders if they are going in the same direction. Keep up the good work Shawn 💪

The thing you have to remember when using roadie is the initial offer is not what the driver may have done it for. The later the item will be, the more roadie will pay. For example, Home Depot drops at 520pm with a 19 dollar order. I will wait until it gets to 30 or higher depending on the miles and pick it up at 7am instead of 6am.

When I first signed up, they confirmed me the same day. I was delivering that same day. They are usually an easy app to get started on.

I just seen an offer on roadie, going 68 mi about 1 hr 34 minutes drive, 2 items 1lb. for $30.12!!!!! Like...why!?! Just no. Ain't going to do that.

Roadie and Ubereats, and Doordash belongs to the toilet. Imagine seeing orders on food delivery apps for a little over a dollar and no tips. McDonald's earns more smh to blood clath mon 🤦🏽♂️

I started DD on Tuesday. I can't work a fulltime job so I thought DD would be OK. My one and only delivery was $6.25 to take a taco 14 miles. That included a $2.50 tip. Today is my second day with DD. The only deliveries were $5.00-$10.00. I cannot find my car keys for those payouts.

I started Roadie last month and re-upped with Uber for EATS only. I try not to accept gigs that are less than $1.25-1.50 per mile. I’m retired and was looking for about $2,000 month and I’m already convinced that these 2 will do it for me. If I get 1 or 2 more today, I’ll be at $500 for the week.
One guy in the comments section said he’s making $2,500 a month on Roadie. Of course he’s making more money on other apps.

I've seen worse orders than this Shawn lol. But tbh, I can only see someone taking this order if they were in Charlotte and were ALREADY going to Winston Salem and not coming back up to Charlotte...
Truth is, to me that would still be a waste of time, even if the person is going in the direction.

i main roadie. i average $800 to $1000 a week and drive about 100 miles a day and only use the app 5 days a week. i make a killing on roadie. and only spend about $150 a week in gas. i average also about 30 hours a week. and im in a semi dead area. not in a city. yeah there are some companies that use roadie that pay crap but i mostly just do the home depot and walmart gigs. cvs and tractor supply.
Those home depot and tractor supply are usually good payout.

Good apps are over saturated, not package delivery. What apps are good. How about adding some value to the community and let us know..

Thank you for being connected. I try to not recommend for individual cities. I’ve been blamed before because someone didn’t think I gave a good recommendation for their city. The app that I had recommended to him actually works great in other cities, but that’s how it is. Not every app works great for every city. Check out some of my videos, free information 😊
