I have decided that you are the Thomas Kincaid of the watercolor world. I love the softness, the friendliness, the beauty of what you create. It's a picture I would want to live in. Thank you.

I am loving watching these video's...just started a few weeks ago and haven't gotten real far, but they are helping me learn a LOT! Thanks so much!! Would LOVE to see a video where you use one of the barns and a house in the same scene...I've been trying to do that and not getting one I like yet. LOL Still to new at this, maybe I'm over thinking...or maybe it's a little more advanced than I should be trying right now.

Great idea!! We will add that to our list of possible future videos! Tip for overthinkers: time yourself, give yourself 10 seconds to stamp the flower/foliage in and 10 seconds to add the water. At the end of the project if you feel like you want to go back and add more water/flowers/foliage you can! This will help you to not focus so hard on the details of the flowers/foliage, but to think of the project as a whole. We love to encourage students to speed things up because it always looks better when it isn't overworked!! Try it out and let us know how it goes! :D

Thanks for the tip! I will try to remember to shorten the time so maybe I won't overdo things. :-)))

This looks idyllic. My husband has been encouraging me to build full scenes like this. Thanks for the tips on sketching in the different elements. That will definitely help with placement.

What a lovely scene. I don’t have any buildings yet but they r on my wish list.

That's awesome I didn't realize that you were using stamps for placement and detail.

I really enjoyed this project. I kept thinking you could easily change the blue water to a light brown & create a dirt road or footpath instead of the creek if you wanted. I always like to change things up a bit, so having that option is good.

Just a thought: do the 'brushes' get cross-contaminated when you spread two colours onto the stamp image? I appreciate you clean them on completion of the project, but what about between stampings?

Thank you! Please do more bigger projects. I am interested in using the stamps but would like bigger landscapes instead of small 5 x 7 pieces.

Hi Janet! Check out Sandy Allnock, she does some larger landscapes with our watercolors. Thanks for watching!!
