I have done Kabini about 8 times. Had sighted a Leapord the very 1st time way back in 2006. After that no luck at all. All your hard work, your passion for the environment, has paid off. Great vlog. Thank you so much n expecting more such vlogs. All the best
Wow! Lucky to spot 2 tigers. I wish these vehicles were electric, so we could enjoy the silence without the engine noise. I visited Kabini last week and took a morning bus safari. Although I didn't spot much besides a few packs of deer, the forest itself was breathtaking. The sunrise, combined with the misty and cool weather, made the experience truly memorable
I’m so happy for you to have such an awesome experience. How exciting!! Thank you so much for sharing India and some of the most beautiful places and creatures on this planet!!
Though you been their multiple times you still continue to have that zeal to explore more in wild life, reaching out to the tiniest places closer to the forest region. Just loved your passion and enthusiasm you have for wild life and nature :) They sound/look so true and peaceful by nature compare to humans :)
Thanks for the advice on choosing the evening Safaris, I have only taken one Evening safari on jeep , the rest were all in the mornings . We narrowly missed the Tiger sighting in Bhadra on that one Evening safari. Still elusive on spotting any Carnivore in the safari trips.
🐅🐯👍Thanks for taking me through mermory lane, and time travel over six decades back, reliving Kenneth Anderson experiences! I don't remember if he saw crocodiles in Kabini. Any idea of water temperature, and if it suits crocodiles, the apex aquatic predator in many area.
Kabini jungle lodges r very costly. U stayed outside in h.d Kote. Till date I didn't knew they will allow for safari ride without staying in lodges. I am from Mysore. Pl tell me how to book online without staying there
@@Shreyas.Ranganath hmm thanks shreyas.. A year ago, I went to pench NP as a wildlife expert with school kids. There I saw a black Panther of pench. However like saya, she also has disappeared from her old territory.
@@Shreyas.Ranganath Oh.. That's indeed great news. Thank you so much.. By the way I have been your subscriber for over a year now. And I love the way you trace Kenneth's man eater expeditions.. I hope one day you will start with Corbett's as well.. 😊
Most of the vehicles saw tigers in those 2 days, so am not very sure. One thing could be there is good communication between drivers during safari. But ofcourse some vehicles missed the last male tiger sighting, so that's a bit of luck, or being in the right place at the right time.

Boon to see the tiger 🐅
You are lucky to spot it.
True 🙂
Wow Fantastic Sightings. You are lucky to have sighted Tiger twice.Nicely captured video. Thanks 👍
Yes Sir, Thanks 🙂
Amazing capture
Thanks 🙂
14:03. The wildest thing in this vlog. That left arm bowler in the background 😅😅😅
Haha....what observation 🙂
Compare 1923 with 2023.100 years after ,we wait to see a tiger. What a change!
Sightings have improved in kabini area, and tigers are habituated to tourism.

Yes, from my experience evenings are better especially since animals would be thirsty/hungry and looking to come to waterholes.
I have done 6 safaris through JLR but never was able to spot a tiger, glad you could spot in Kabini :)
During our safari almost all vehicles saw the tigers, and sometimes no one spots a cat, that's the way it goes. 🙂
@@Shreyas.Ranganath , yes I agree! that's wildlife.

Thanks 🙂 I know there are crocodiles in kabini backwaters, but not sure on water temperature.

Lucky you, having ample time to relish with that real beast. By the way, it’s not ‘bavaali,’ it’s ‘baavali.’
Amazing sighting and a wonderful vlog. - Anish

Hi Shreyas any news on famous Black Panther of Kabini?. I have heard that Saya hasn't been sighted in last fews weeks..
Hello Jayesh, when i enquired, i was told she hasn't been sighted since many months...

Oh ok, but now there are black panthers in Nagarahole area nanchi safari, supposedly 2 cubs.

Great to know, thanks for the support. 🙂
Which month did you visit
December....
What is the secret of sighting a tiger in 2 out of 3 safaris.. Merely a luck? A good guide ?? Or both??

which temple did you visit and which god did you pray to before the safari?? please share :D This is unbelievable to say the least.
Hehe, i guess this was the result of so many earlier prayers of previous safaris where I hadn't spotted much. 🙂
@@Shreyas.Ranganath Same here, I going to Bandipur and stay there for 2 days next week. Hoping for some good sightings.
Best wishes....🙂
