What an amazing transformation Jody, hope your arms didnt ache for to many days after that grill. Just to comment on a question you asked about leaving out certain aspects, personally I thoroughly enjoy how inclusive your vlogs are, I dont find them boring whatsoever, you always leave me with some knowledge or way to improve my own technique. Always get a couple of laughs along the way aswell. 👍
That's great to hear @KiloRomeoOscar, I just wasn't sure if people wanted to see me cleaning glass over and over again or cleaning wheels the same way in every Vlog but the response has been great so I will continue doing it but try and mix it up a bit 👍
@@cornwallcarcare8959 I totally get where you're coming from Jody, ultimately you have to keep it interesting for yourself aswell, I think it's great you show the reality of what it's like to detail professionally, showing it's not always glitz and glam and showcasing the individual issues you come across from job to job. Your content is a great insight into the detailing proffesion and is some of the best content available on the subject imo.

How long did you spend on the polishing stage? I'd love to see a vid focussing on paint correction. This car was full of swirls and scratches but you nailed it again! Great vid and what a result!
Cheers @darrenmetal3338, I spent around 40 hours on the polishing stages ( very long days ), in the background I have been recording some in depth footage on my daily driver which was in a bad way ( flat black ) and that will be a multi part vlog coming out when its finished 👍
@@cornwallcarcare8959 That sounds like music to my ears. I'm 80% of the time polishing black paint and I like to see other's approach . You always learn right?

The grille came out great what products did you use and what tools worked best?
Thanks @haroldcottam8174 the grille was cleaned with Auto Finesse Tripple and a skewer wrapped in a microfiber towel 👍
Do you always do a prep wipe down after Primer regardless of time between polishing and coating?
Yep I sure do @LSD04, unless its really soft paint then I just wait the 24 hours for Primer to bond and coat straight on top 👍
