Half the fun of collecting Pokemon cards is opening packs, and while buying cards is the easiest way to complete a collection it is by no means the most enjoyable to watch.
like your vids good luck from british columbia! i opened a total of 75, 151 packs and i managed to ALMOST pull the whole 165 card base set mostly reverse holos im only missing a total of 7 cards. if i want the full reverse holo base set i think i only need to buy like 40 cards. i also pulled 18 value cards FullArt or better. in canada 151 packs are $10 each my 151 collection is worth about 550 cad. didn't lose as much money as i was expecting.
I have a total of 56 packs of 151 (zapdos box, alakazam box, poster box, and 6 boxes of booster packs) at this point I'm considering selling them and using that money to buy different sets. My channel isn't growing, so I need to do something.
You have mentioned your family is pretty into Pokemon. Have you thought about having like a family opening video every so often where they open them with you? That would be adorable! Also there's a channel where the guy owns a store and opens thousands of packs to determine the pull rates and breaks it all down, to the point where he will give you #of packs it would take to open to get a specific card your looking for. It's pretty jarring finding out. In other words, if your down to the last few cards, i suggest buying a few lol. His channel is Danny Phantump and I've been using his pull rate data.

I agree. At this point the chance of pulling them from boxes is less than 0.0X %. Definitely buy them or trade them with some bulk, up to you.
