I've got a 2024 Tracer GT+. I gave up on the in-dash Garmin before the free trial ended. When it connected it was great but the mirroring failed to start too often to be useful. Hopefully Yamaha and Garmin will see this and other comments and push app updates that up the reliability to 100%. If that happens, I'd be willing to give it another shot. Also Yamaha: I've never gotten the stand alone weather app to work. It always times out before loadiing, although bluetooth music streaming meta data comes across to the dash fine.
Waiting for Tracer9 with this kind of tft dash. 100% agree with other comments that it should also be compatible with android auto.
Please support Android Auto & Apple Carplay. It's 2022.

What an absolute faff. This could be a great feature but it’s impossible to get it working.

its 2024 and still using garmin? geez, just enable android auto or apple carplay and let the user choose what navigation system to use.
