What a beautiful video, I am so happy you posted the DI race with Trabuco Hills first. Beautiful shot at 4:00 showing the girls in perfect form. Both Holly and Millie through the first mile in 5:40 and the second in 11:40, then Holly appears to turn it on to finish the last mile in 5:32 for a very strong 17:12 on a difficult course. Breakout race for Sophie Guilfolie but all the top 5 Trabuco Hills girls ran a hell of a race. Watch out because this team could win State.
Poman, you’re awesome, brother… but can I make a suggestion please? You need to keep a much bigger distance from the runners. For their safety and air quality, you should be at least 20 meters ahead of the runners. You’re only 5 or 10M ahead. The bike is kicking up dust in the face of the leaders and affecting them. The footage is too close to them anyways, so it’s only going to help your video quality to double your distance from them. Also, when you got a late start on a D1 heat yesterday, passing them on the right like you did should have been avoided by just waiting for them to come back around, or you could have backtracked and let them catch up to you. Absolutely love what you do for the sport, but please make the athletes’ the #1 priority. Thanks, brother.
HDrunners did the bike filming and they are always too close in my opinion. This seems to be a problem through out cross country. The golf cart camera crew often kick up dust right into the leaders the whole race.

Very good top 5. D1 State title is theirs to lose.
Best D1 team for Boys is Beckman; Best D1 team for Girls is Trabuco Hills so they get first dib.
12:51 >>> that's a tough uphill. good strong running.
3.07 miles. What did you get on your watch?

Got it! I'm going to run a telephoto 85mm f1.8 on these dusty courses. For the normal grass and streets, I'll use the normal 50mm lens.
