- There is only one other time I caught a video like this from the FDNY RESCUE COMPANY and that was on JULY 11th of 2015 of the FDNY RESCUE 2 IN BROOKLYN and that video is in the description below.

Wolf simple solution is both fire trucks and cop cars have automated cameras take pics of these aholes, then ticket them latter and if someone dies in a fire. Charge them with manslaughter.

The way i see it is if you don't move there should be a law that allows to tap them in the bumber
If there's no place to go there's no place to go, but in this video there were a couple places people could of moved over.
The least that should have been done is the NYPD car to pull that Lexus over and give him a ticket.
Trust me I have tap-pushed a couple of cabs in my lifetime that we're sitting there actually with the nerve to be counting change from their Fair they just let out infront of us (WHILE the horn was blasting behind them) instead of getting out of the way. and when someone is dying TRUST ME that back bumper WILL be getting touched and they will get the point QUICK to move 🚨

They should be able to bump the cars in front of them if this is what people are going to be like... just attach the biggest bull bar you can find to the front of em, they'll move then, lol.

I can't believe these drivers won't pull over to the side and let the truck by. Unbelievable. If they were having a heart attack or their house was burning down they sure would want the 1st responders to get through.
Sheer dearth of space. Welcome to NYC. The only option they have is to move over the curb/sidewalk. Some people don't do that, it isn't legal either. But yeah, I'd prioritise the fire truck's passage over other things. We don't know how many lives are at stake vs. nominal hassle for the car driver. If at all i.e.

in Tn if a police car was following a fire truck and you didnt move over they pull over the cars and ticket them in a heartbeat

NYC is a compact city in addition to the streets it’s extremely difficult. Make traffic a nightmare but they should renovate the entire city or the most congested parts to have a emergency vehicle only lane.
@@mcgazzabeast2440 yeah, in my country there are bus lanes (usually) seperated from traffic. Emergency vehciles can use the bus lane in case of an emergency.
@@Dante20321 Your emergency services are extremely lucky then due to the implications of renovating such a wide radius or even going fourth to renovate compact areas can make things problematic as you need to consider every single aspect, from pedestrians to lines running under the streets. Making the entire thing too costly for most places

If I was a cop, I would follow the fire trucks, fine all the drivers in front of it for not pulling over, charging them 1000 dollars, and I would probably make about 100k-500k a day
mm cops dont charge amounts and wouldnt be able to charge 1000 dollars for it lol Making up amounts would be nice though and yes good idea anyway

But the problem with that is today with all the snowflakes being sensitive to everything these days, if they received one of those tickets, cops' labeled a pig, threatened to be defunded, and pray to the heavens, doesn't get shot randomly. You know how those NY streets are today.

One of the guys on my dept that would ride in the officers seat had a love affair with the air horn... so much that it would cause my low air pressure warning alarms to come on because he would deplete it.🤣

We don't compare which should have the most respect, they're the same, they're still firefighters, they still save ppl, they are all brave, they are bold, they r all eager to help the citizens. We'll only the trucks and sirens are different in some countries

Ok new idea for all Fire Stations (Not just NYC),
Have a Repo Truck (or make a contract with Repo Company) so when people park in the middle of the road or in the Emergency Lanes, they can just tow the car to their own lot, and the person has to a nice $fine.
The station gets extra 💰 and the person stops being a dumb**

Lesson learnt: Never have an emergency in New York. And if running from the police for some reason drive into New York near the tall buildings. That way if there was a helicopter it would probably have to go since it's near giant skyscrapers and that isn't the safest thing in the world.
How F'n hard to get out of the way of a truck, larger than most NYC apartments, that is also an emergency vehicle. I have driven on to curbs, medians and worse, to leave a lane for the FD

It's NYC, a seriously overcrowded, traffic congested city. The cars can't readily move out of the way. You couldn't pay me enough to live in that kind of environment.
