Carlos... Im so glad we got to meet this character. I really liked him and am so glad how his story played out. May him and Maria live happily. I wonder if he ever finds someone to call his own?
The theme of carlos, the true hero of the story. It could've been sigma, the man who traveled, but he got sandbagged. Well, you got one game all to yourself siggy, better than nothing
this will ALWAYS be Carlos's theme for me, and I fucking love it!!!I wish everyone had their own theme that played whenever something big happened in their arc
Let's see. Q team. You've got Eric who's obsessed with Mira, Mira who's a brutal killer and Q himself who. (I won't say anything else cause yay plot spoilers)
But since we're talking about Carlos in here. Does anyone else suspect Uchikoshi was involved in a traumatic incident involving a fire as a child, and a firefighter saved his life? Think about it, it's how all of this started; Akane burning up in the incinerator. Burning alive. A terrible thing. And then you look at the way Carlos is written, and how much respect the writer treats his profession with, and always points out how many people he's saved... and you can't not suspect he has some sort of deep-rooted respect for firefighters. I'm betting it's the whole inspiration behind Carlos's character, and why he's always so willing to risk his life and suffer for others. This is all probably nonsense and nothing like that actually did happen to him, but when I look it at all this way, I feel a much stronger connection to Carlos than I probably would have otherwise.
I thought carlos was going to be a left clone, or a secret asshole, but he turned out to be the biggest bro ever. I felt bad for him being sandwiched inbetween detective edgelord and miss ticking timebomb's sappy romance. He was a great character caught up in a shitty team, he deserved better. I hope Uchi brings him back in later installments.
VLR cemented Junpei x Akane as the biggest NOTP ever for me. I damn near didn't play the game because I heard about that ending and it made me furious. As for future installments.... uh... I really doubt it, dude.
No way man, he left it open in another damn cliffhanger and intentionally didn't tell us about what's going on with sigma, phi, diana, snake, clover and alice. This was his plan from the beginning, make it as available and appealing to the public as possible. Even going so far to dub 999 and put it and VLR on steam. Give it about a year for more fans to bandwagon and he's gonna drop another teaser site.
The theme of the bitter wanderer looking for his lost love, the tale of the clairvoyant savior risking life and limb in raging infernos. If they had used this track in VLR I could definitely see this song being played any time sigma did something that would get him killed in return. Sigma Klim the hero of time Easily one of the best tracks in the game
Definitely. There's not many pieces of music that give me those two feelings at once. Especially when thinking back to the moments this is played over during ZTD
This feels more like a C team theme than Carlos' theme to me. Probably because all the scenes I assosiate this track with are Junpei being super emo and Carlos and Akane talking to him about it Still one of my favourite ost in this game, it may be sappy and not in tone with the rest of the soundtrack, but I still like it's melancholic yet a bit hopeful tune
I hadn’t even thought of this connection. It does sound like it could play when a culprit breaks down and explains his motives. Or just generally sounds like some reminiscence related track, especially fitting to one of the ppl from the FBI
I thought C Team was pretty entertaining overall, as a 999 fanboy. But yeah I agree about Q team lol. Poor Sean, kid got stuck with the shittiest teammates imaginable

Reminder that Carlos: The American Hero did in like a few hours what Akane and Junpei couldn't do in nearly 15 years
Indeed, he did it in the past to save her sister...
He used to shift his whole life as a firefighter to save people's lives, so that's nota exactly correct
Carlos... Im so glad we got to meet this character. I really liked him and am so glad how his story played out. May him and Maria live happily. I wonder if he ever finds someone to call his own?
This game's star theme imo, like Morph.sorrow in 999 and Blue Bird in VLR.

The theme of carlos, the true hero of the story. It could've been sigma, the man who traveled, but he got sandbagged. Well, you got one game all to yourself siggy, better than nothing
Lol. Main story is about Sigma and Diana love story. Not Carlos
@@sandansaiyan5675 Sigma and Diana are obviously important, but Carlos is pretty much the main character of ZTD.
The title of the track means "Burnt Tragedy". Fitting for Carlos, since he's a firefighter.
Huh. Interesting
I always associate this with Carlos. Something about it says "All-American"
Or maybe because in every major Carlos moment this plays?
+Dark Lord Sauron (Kevin M. Adamson)
Also that
It DOES sound like a track right out of one of those 90s dramedy movies. Like Lethal Weapon.
It's sexy Carlos time for me.
It sounds like it could be a track from Silent Hill 2/3.

I swear I thought of the phrase "Edgy Junpei" when I heard this theme, and then saw your comment I FEEL
Grumpy Jumpy.
Grumpy Jumpy, thank you
...Hey I'm Grump?
I'm going to call him grumpy jumpy from now on on this game, thank you
Carlos was the best dude there. Team D was there for family reasons. Junpei and akame was all about childhood and Team Q was all types of messed up
Let's see. Q team. You've got Eric who's obsessed with Mira, Mira who's a brutal killer and Q himself who. (I won't say anything else cause yay plot spoilers)

Easily one of the best tracks in the game
Carlos is my favorite charcter Uchikoshi has written. Caring , hopeful , and a great leader. I think he's the best protagonist Uchikoshi has made.
I don’t know what it was about Carlos that had me so enamored but man did i love him and I still do.

Not only is Carlos the best character, but he has the best track.
"It was because of their support that I could become a firefighter."
Best theme in the game
*I was eighteen and I'd only just passed the test*
*grabs its yamaoka vibes* What should I do with these???
Carlos is the real Shirou Emiya.
For some reason this song reminds me of Silent Hill 2.
Definitely. Awesome to see others are picking up on those Yamaoka vibes.
I thought it was just me
indeed, it is
Carlos was maybe my fav character in ZTD. Although I found the whole group strong in general (Eric not so much).
Silent hill 3 vibes.

Carlos, great character, probably my fav of this entry, boring team though. Still better than Q team, where only Sean is bright spot.
I thought C Team was pretty entertaining overall, as a 999 fanboy.

Q-Team was entertaining in a messed up way, what with the heart ripping, infinite ammo shotguns and complex motives.
