- I head back home to Positano where Holly is very happy to see me. The chicken coop is nearly done and the cats decide to explore. I also take you to work for a day on a swimwear photoshoot around town.

obviously Carlo has an amazing sense of humour as whilst you were gone who made a video in front of chicken coup that totally caught me unaware.....I nearly fell off of my bed and scared the cat with my laughing.....the adventures with your hens never disappoint; you must be pleased with the decision to add them to your "menagerie"!....so much fun from this angle; thank you! from Canada.
Have you ever shopped for the stair climbing dolly carts? Triangle wheels! Makes the stair hauling sooooo much easier.
I go from the heart-warming feeling of Holly being excited to see you, to the sheer terror of that narrow walk along the edge. 😀

I'm sorry people don't thank you for answering your questions and I'm extremely upset that the person did not extend sympathy to you when you told them your mother died in 2006. I am very sorry you lost your mom. I lost mine in 2004. It's hard. Anyway, I love your videos and appreciate how you open your life to us.💖

Gorgeous views! I wish you had built in slide or a conveyor belt that goes up or down to put your bags and packages to use so you don’t have to carry so much up and down all those steps. I know it’s worth it where you live in your beautiful home and garden, but watch your back and knees. Btw, I love jam, I only have two flavors in my food pantry, grape and boysenberry but there’s other flavors I like too. My sister-in-law makes homemade jam that she sends us a couple times a year, very delicious. We use to live on the Central coast in California, Cambria, CA. Where my husband is from. We lived in this cute house when we first got married, and had a beautiful ocean view of the Pacific Ocean. But it was expensive for us so we moved back to my hometown two hours East but we have a lot of Mountain View’s surrounding us. There’s snow on the mountains right now, plus my family lives around here, too. Btw, I was happy to see the Venice Beach, California magnet on your fridge I spotted behind you! I grew up nearby Venice Beach! I also have two cats, they follow me around the house or out to my yard when I sit outside to clean up or just relaxing, my fur babies. Thank you for sharing, you’re very lucky and so blessed! 💖😁

Lovely jam collection, lucky you as a recipient! A tip for the chicken coop- Don't put the roosts over the nesting boxes, they get dirty/poopy much faster. That coop looks great and a place the chickens can be proud to call home. Holly is so cute and funny with Carlo teasing her when she first saw you. She obviously thinks you belong to her. Beautiful footage, thank you so much!

Hi Nicki - I recently stumbled across your channel (and instantly subscribed!) while planning my vacation to Italy. I love your vlogs and charming life in Italy. After living in Barcelona for two years, I returned to work in New York City and your videos remind me of why living in the Mediterranean is the absolute dream! You don't need fancy cars, clothes, a restaurant on every corner, etc. to be happy. All you need is nature, fresh food, and a loving home. Bikini and boots... presumably her feet were out of shot... I'm sure her real mother was grateful you were there to look after her...when I was on holiday in Ibiza I found an alcohol induced boy ( I say boy he was probably mid twenties) face down on the sand with the sea lapping at his feet very soon to be up to his neck and I accosted another bloke to help as we (my sister and I) tried to find his friends, then once he was safe and upright we took the 'helper' to his hotel as he was lost and had become separated from his friends and had no money for a cab. I just kept thinking as a mother of 2 I would want someone to help mine if they ever needed it.. great video... loved Holly's reaction.. chicken coupe is looking great.. brown or white hens indeed hahah

You did so well in the supermarket at home! I usually get in trance for a couple of hours in the chocolate and tea section! I buy 20 boxes herbals and empty them all out into plastic bag to chuck in case...save loads cash...Pukka teas are a third of the price in Scotland!
what a lovely walk down memory lane Dorset, Bath, London, and Richmond park, you are spoiled for choice, lucky Skype and Nicola to see that level of English life, flying over the alps brought back so many memories of me carrying a full suitcase of English goodies home with me to Italy. I started watching your blogs few weeks ago....now I have my husband watching them.....he finds them informative and very interesting. I love how you walk all around the Amalfi Coast. I live in San Antonio TX and we are coming to Positano in 2022. Its been my dream forever, you could say its number one on my Bucket List. lol. We love seeing your everyday life in Italy. You Dad and I will get on extremely well! I eat jam on everything and even throw a few teaspoons into gravy's and meat sauces. Specially the dark stone fruits.

Hi Nicki, We always love your videos. It's nice to step out of our life here in Washington State, USA and enjoy the warmth of Positano. We haven't been yet but hope to get back to Italy in the next year. We plan to visit the Amalfi Coast and go further south to Amantea,, Tropea, and that area where our ancestors emigrated from. Do you ever travel that far south?

Do your chickens have predators there? Our chickens had to tend with foxes, raccoons, opossums, hawks and the neighbor’s dog. 😮
