  • Walmart WAGYU at $27 a pound may be the only way i ever get to say i have eaten it. I must say it wasn't bad! and using the Speedi it was easy to cook and sear in the same device. I also show my technique for sous vide corn on the cob that i cook at the same time in my Ninja Foodi One Lid. I'm still unsponsored by ANY company, business or manufacturer...at all... whatsoever so you get my true honest opinion as always and will immediately tell you if that ever changes, but i must say i have found nothing that competes with these 2 devices (plus their large oven) and quite honestly have expected some other company to come after the one lid with its thermometer capable of pressure cooking but nothing i'm aware of is out there... I have been gone for awhile but rest assured if someone introduces another pressure cooker... or anything that competes with the devices i keep on my counters... i will immediately return to see if it is worthy...even if its Ninja upping its own products ... but until then...LOVE Y'ALL...Jelly007

Good video. Years ago I bought a ninja foodi based on your videos and loved it. Looking to replace it with another foodi due to a fire, so I was curious if you could pick a pressure cooker/air fryer what would you go with now?

You said it takes about an hour for the water in the sous vide to heat up, is there a way to speed this up, like using a water boiler or heating it up in a pot on the stove, using a thermometer to get it as close to 130F or whatever your target temp is?

Hey hey hey. Good to see you. I thought about you today when I was doing my first cook on my new griddle flat top. I thought, I wish John was into this cooker so I could get some great lessons. Your wygu looks delish. Stay well. God bless.

If you had to choose between the OL-701 (with meat probe) and the Speedi, which would you choose?
