      It’s awesome!! It’s an entire production studio in the box (sampling, sequencing, recording, mixing, mastering…).
      My theory is that all these features are why Roland didn’t incorporate the 8-output card as a stock feature for the sampler. The expectation may have been for each sound to come “into” the unit to be mixed/mastered. It can really do it all.

    I literally just had to deal with the bug right before watching this video lol. I remember version 3.52 was supposed to fix it but I have 3.54 and it still does it. I assume 3.52 didn’t fix it either.
    With that said, I love the machine. Sometimes I’ll route the Lofi processor to the outputs on a track like this.… I’m rambling now but I could go on and on about the MV! lol
    The groove, the chops, everything about this was dope bro!

      @@UrbanJournal peace, thanks a lot!! I’ve gotta take a look at the boot up screen to see which OS it’s running on now. Glad you enjoyed the video, this was a fun creative exercise! 🙏🏿

      @@phdirac Press the system button and then the global icon. I believe it’s top right corner icon. That’ll tell you what software you’re using.

      lol this was off the top of my head… it’s not the global icon it’s the icon all the way to the right called systems info. My bad lol… but that’ll tell you the software as well

    i see you also have that sampling input bug where the unit changes inpur to coax. i tend to initialize the mv after that to reset it to aux. any upside to resolving this by loading a dummy program like you do?

    • @phdirac
      @phdirac  7 месяцев назад

      Peace, thanks for the comment! Loading the dummy project is just the way that I learned how to get around the bug (my MV8800 has that glitch too). No specific benefit to that approach otherwise.
      How do you initialize the MV after that point to resolve the bug? I’m interested in learning that approach as well.
