When I was growing up my mom bought my earrings at Zales because I couldn’t wear costume jewelry. And even the real gold had to be soaked in alcohol before I put it in my ear. I was allergic to fake jewelry back then. My stepmom got upset because she wanted to buy me earrings, and I told her, “my mama said I can’t wear cheap jewelry”. She told me saying cheap is rude, and I should say inexpensive. Same difference. 😂😂
