Awesome new GoHighLevel feature now allows us to send documents and get signatures from clients and customers!
Excellent feature that replaces tools like DocuSign and saves us as business owners a ton of time and money.
In addition to sending documents and getting signatures inside of GoHighLevel, once the client signs the document, they also receive a PDF version of the document they signed for their own records.
From there, you can create a ton of different automations that trigger once they've signed the document.
Hope it helps!

Thank you man ! I was fuck*** struggling to change my document email template ;)
Glad it helped!
I have a strong feeling you can automate the entire process so that you wouldn't even need to manually move them in the pipeline. Maybe starting the automation with a documents and contracts trigger that is "sent" Then update their status in the pipeline and then documents and contracts for when it is signed then update the status and then repeat for completed. It is a little bit confusing but now that we have more features with documents and contracts in the workflow editor I would love to see a video on that!
You can definitely do that. Just depends on what you're trying to set up. I will definitely do more videos as I play around with these new features!
Thank you for sharing this! I am trying to set this up for our agency
I definitely recommend it!
When I tried this using the opportunity fields my contract keeps coming up blank. With GHL updating the use of opportunity fields it made it much more visible than contact fields but useless if it doesn't work in automations and contracts. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Works on my end. I'd need to see it to diagnose what's wrong, but I'd say hop on a quick zoom call with GHL support and they should be able to help you fix it.
Hey My man, this video is super useful. If you can help me letting me know how to get the signature certification after any document signed. Is this something you are adding as an additional page or is something created by default by GHL docs? Thank you
Great video. Did you create the Certificate or does it automatically generate?
OK this walk-through is awesome. Thank you for your time putting it together. Question for you. Is there work for automation to know when a document is signed? Or when signing is complete? I don’t see anything. What am I missing?
There is. I go through that towards the end of the video.
@@LeadsForLocals rock on! They just have just added it. Excited to watch… TY
Awesome video…!! Going straight in my GHL playlist for rewatching again…
Had kind of an unrelated question -
"ScreenPal" vs "Loom" - I see you use both… could you tell me which one to pick…?
PS, i personally liked the fact that we can white-label the recorder, or so i've been told… Throughts?
Glad it helped! I definitely prefer ScreenPal. Much less glitchy and way more features. I only use Loom to send short support videos now.
Could you PLEASEEE make a quick video for why and how to use it? And also touch on the white-labeling the interface part…
I can't find any help online…

Thanks for the video. Perhaps I'm missing a step here? I tested this to my email and noticed that the buttons that are supposed to link to the doc are not working. I have the Actions set to URL and Link URL is {{document.url}}. Thoughts?
Is your document published/active?
Hey Matt, this is great thank you. Is there a way to create a form that would collect data and then you could automatically insert that data (for example a client's full address) and then it could populate a template and send it out for signature ?
To confirm, you're talking about getting an address or email address and then sending the document out. Not putting the address in the document itself correct?
Yeah actually getting information, like their name & address in a GHL form and have it insert into a fillable field on a template, then autosend it out to be authorized. Many thanks ahead of time! 🙏@@LeadsForLocals
Hello, this is very helpful! By the way, what video screen recorder did you use? Is it a free? Hope you notice this! Thanks
Glad it helped! I primarily use Screenpal and Streamyard for my screen recording.
@@LeadsForLocals is it free Bro?? Need some idea. Thanks.
@@BaBaYaGaBooGeYMaN no. Use loom if you want free
big question, are those legal liable? will they hold up in court?
Check with an attorney on that one. I would think so since it's just like any other digital signature. I suppose you could also add a link to the terms and conditions for it as well. But, never hurts to double check!
