I backslid into homosexuality in the beginning of march and seen my ex girlfriend once a week afterwards like on the weekends because I had school. Each time I’d come home I’d repent and block her but than I’d unblock her and do the same thing until last Sunday was the last time and I told her that. Two weeks ago actually was supposed to be the last time but she got ahold of me on her friends fb and I was so tempted I gave in and she gave me a loud speaker and a chain maybe to remember her by? Idk but I cried while watching this testimony also because ei miss her and the memories I need whoever sees this to pray for me. I wanna choose Gid and I do. I should also probably get rid of the chain and speaker just pray for me please
Praying for you Sis❤️, keep holding onto God and seeking His help in letting go of your ex girlfriend once and for all. Don’t be afraid to trust Jesus with your heart, He knows how hard this is for you, and wants to help you let go. Just let Him lead in your life, and you will see how much you will grow in your relationship with Him. Also, I would suggest that you fast for however long that Abba Father calls you to fast for, fasting combined with prayer is so powerful, and effective in delivering you from any strongholds in your life. And if you have someone in your life that’s also a Christian that pray with and for you, it will help you soo much as it’s encouraging to have another believer support you. Don’t be discouraged, and don’t give up my Sister in Christ. Our Lord Jesus has made you a conqueror & victorious in Him, if you give this to Him you will see how much lighter you will feel in your heart. There is something about the way Iris described her isolation/consecration season that made me reflect: People always say the mark of a true friend is someone who is able to just sit with you in silence, understand what you are going through and yet be able to resist the temptation to speak. Thank you for such a beautiful testimony, Iris ❤ been struggling with same-sex relationship before coming to Christ, but coming to Christ makes it all worthless. When you get a glimpse of His love, His goodness, nothing can compare. Sin is putting anything before Him, be it a heterosexual relationship, family, career, any external validation that puts us in bondage. Praying for anyone having same struggles now, remember, you're never alone, never truly abandoned, for Jesus went through absolute abandonment so you could never experience it 🙏
@ChildOfGod I was also a single mom, raising 4 very young children (after my then-husband and their father abandoned us within an hour of my returning home after my son’s birth + my 2, 4 & 6-yr old daughters) and 99% of the time I didn’t receive the court-ordered child support or alimony, so I understand your financial and emotional struggles. We made it through with the help in receiving Food Stamps and frugal living. Plus eventually I started a home-based business so I could keep my eyes on my (then) young teenagers, plus it enabled me to make more $$ than I had while working hourly wages. I pray that if you remain close to Heavenly Father, following Jesus as your Shepherd and Savior, and listening to the Holy Spirit for guidance in your daily walk…that you will be blessed with plenty to support your family. 🙏 💕

Thank you and thank God for this testimony, it really helped me, especially the part where she had to get rid of the things/belongings she got from her ex, I didn't even fully realized I was still hanging on to something I received from mine until I heard this testimony, the conviction came but I didn't realize it'll take me contemplating, making excuses for it or justifying it to get rid of it, then the Lord reminded me " To obey is better than sacrifice " I thank God for His mercies and His loving kindness that leads me to repentance 🙏🏼

“Same with me.” What a sweet example of being all things to all people so that by all means we can win some. So many people need that engaging with someone who has gone before us in order to take those steps to Jesus.
It is truly such a blessing that we can come to Jesus as sinful as we are. I used to be close with God as a child, but whenever I graduated high school, I started falling into a lifestyle of sin and constant anxiety. Several years later, it was so bad and broke me down and I wanted to go back to God but Satan whispered in my ear "God doesn't want you back. You're too dirty. You need to be clean up for a while then go back to him." Jesus surpassed this lie whispered in my ear though. I picked up my Bible, and felt that peace ONLY Jesus provides. He accepted me in my sinful state and made me whole. I will always seek Jesus. Praise him for being SO good. Thank you so much God❤❤❤ this testimony reminded me of how dirty I felt and yet its okay to return to Jesus.

I can share that in time of temptation, Holy Spirit encourages me to say firmly 'I choose you, Jesus'. And I can sometimes physically feel how devil runs away from me. Is like exorcism he hehe.. Beautiful Testimony… The theme through all of this is LOVE. God drew her with His love. I think this is important for us to remember in encountering those who live alternative lifestyles. It is not us exposing their sin and judging them that draws them, it is the Love of God.
Something about her voice is so calming and so very clear as day to me. I took so many notes from her testimony. All the things that happen in her walk lead her to this moment to be able to speak to me and others. Even her mention of journaling made me understand what it means to use that tool to speak to god as I’m studying his word. A lot of what she said really touched me so I thank god for putting his hands on her and directing her life. I’m having trouble now learning to be obedient and as I’m walking through life I’m starting to understand what conviction feels like inside me and that I’m experiencing that because of god. It’s very powerful when you don’t know what gods voice sounds like and doubt yourself only to realize you just heard direction from god and you have a choice to listen and see where it leads and that there are other people fighting to deny their desires and flesh and choosing god. It’s very hard I stumble and get back up and I encourage us all to keep fighting. Amen ❤

Even though I’m not gay I really feel this testimony because of the calling of your life with a music ministry. As a new Christian and me being a DJ and musician I am struggling with feeling a void without “worldly” music and culture in my life. I am praying to find a church like this to become a part of. @@hiitsiris531Well, I can take a crack at it. We assess what is wrong based off of logical conclusions reached from action and consequence. Looking at homosexuality at its core which is 2 ppl of the same gender coming together- be in sex, love, a combination of both. You get the idea. Logically, you are not hurting anyone by doing so. If your argument is that God doesn’t like it and condemns it, I can easily turn around say that you interpreted the Bible wrong (cause ppl have their own interpretations) and that God loves everyone equally. This is the part of the religion that throws me off and to be honest? The fact that videos like this are still SO popular and around like they are just proves that there is still A LOT of hate towards gay people simply for just existing in a relationship with another human being. And I’ll tell you one thing and I mean this, any God that I worship would NEVER have a problem with me being gay. And if that God does, I don’t want anything to do with it. If denying who you are and pretending that you no longer are who you are is peaceful, then do you. But this, most certainly, is NOT the pathway for every gay person.

this shows how important a upbtinging with Christ is. i was brought up as an atheist or not even that because nobody ever used that word or tried to decribe our situation. if i asked. my mom said. yeah .. there might be something .. but it never meant anything anyway. but .. i had to grow 40+ to have thoughts like iris had in her young years! i would have loved to know Jesus at this early age! i talked about him a lot .. but never knew him. i just acted if i knew everything about the bible because i wanted to look smart and after all ive read 1 sentences from it. but .. i was an atheist! i am just sad thinking about it! i feel my life went bad because of this! today i love the lord. thats all that matters anyway! still .. u have such a better life with Jesus! especially at a young age!

I am trying very hard not to, but struggling with anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD makes it very difficult, but I'm doing my best. My mistake mostly is not talking to God about it. Start having conversations with God out loud. Maybe when you're driving or when you're doing chores. Just start a dialogue with God: knowing you may not hear something verbally back but that the Holy Spirit goes before the throne and groans in intercession for you and will never return void. You will get Holy Spirit "drops" of thoughts or discernment when you talk to God in the spirit, having faith that He is receiving every word you speak. Invite Him in to search you, while you speak to Him, so that He will bring to the surface what it is you need to talk about. God will never forsake you.

When you get a glimpse of His love, His goodness, nothing can compare. Sin is putting anything before Him, be it a heterosexual relationship, family, career, any external validation that puts us in bondage. Praying for anyone having same struggles now, remember, you're never alone, never truly abandoned, for Jesus went through absolute abandonment so you could never experience it 🙏

I was also a single mom, raising 4 very young children (after my then-husband and their father abandoned us within an hour of my returning home after my son’s birth + my 2, 4 & 6-yr old daughters) and 99% of the time I didn’t receive the court-ordered child support or alimony, so I understand your financial and emotional struggles. We made it through with the help in receiving Food Stamps and frugal living. Plus eventually I started a home-based business so I could keep my eyes on my (then) young teenagers, plus it enabled me to make more $$ than I had while working hourly wages. I pray that if you remain close to Heavenly Father, following Jesus as your Shepherd and Savior, and listening to the Holy Spirit for guidance in your daily walk…that you will be blessed with plenty to support your family. 🙏 💕

Thank you and thank God for this testimony, it really helped me, especially the part where she had to get rid of the things/belongings she got from her ex, I didn't even fully realized I was still hanging on to something I received from mine until I heard this testimony, the conviction came but I didn't realize it'll take me contemplating, making excuses for it or justifying it to get rid of it, then the Lord reminded me " To obey is better than sacrifice " I thank God for His mercies and His loving kindness that leads me to repentance 🙏🏼

It is truly such a blessing that we can come to Jesus as sinful as we are. I used to be close with God as a child, but whenever I graduated high school, I started falling into a lifestyle of sin and constant anxiety. Several years later, it was so bad and broke me down and I wanted to go back to God but Satan whispered in my ear "God doesn't want you back. You're too dirty. You need to be clean up for a while then go back to him." Jesus surpassed this lie whispered in my ear though. I picked up my Bible, and felt that peace ONLY Jesus provides. He accepted me in my sinful state and made me whole. I will always seek Jesus. Praise him for being SO good. Thank you so much God❤❤❤ this testimony reminded me of how dirty I felt and yet its okay to return to Jesus.

I was brainwashed by the same community. I was damaged inside as a child with homosexual things and I thought I was one when I was a teenager, but deep down I had no romantic feelings towards women. I didn’t understand until I follow Christ years later at 25.

Thank you, Iris. Wow, God created you beautifully:). First off, my heart breaks for what you needed to go through since you have been born. But your receptiveness to God's word and His will, and your honesty is a great witness. Thank you:). The road with God and to God is a narrow one and quite uphill. Jackie Perry said that God may not call one to be straight, but to be holly. Whatever temptation and uphill, God's is mighty. I can share that in time of temptation, Holy Spirit encourages me to say firmly 'I choose you, Jesus'. And I can sometimes physically feel how devil runs away from me. Is like exorcism he hehe.. Beautiful Testimony… The theme through all of this is LOVE. God drew her with His love. I think this is important for us to remember in encountering those who live alternative lifestyles. It is not us exposing their sin and judging them that draws them, it is the Love of God.
Sin is not something to be proud of! Jesus heals hearts, Satan darkness them and makes sour taste sweet, and sweet sour.

Something about her voice is so calming and so very clear as day to me. I took so many notes from her testimony. All the things that happen in her walk lead her to this moment to be able to speak to me and others. Even her mention of journaling made me understand what it means to use that tool to speak to god as I’m studying his word. A lot of what she said really touched me so I thank god for putting his hands on her and directing her life. I’m having trouble now learning to be obedient and as I’m walking through life I’m starting to understand what conviction feels like inside me and that I’m experiencing that because of god. It’s very powerful when you don’t know what gods voice sounds like and doubt yourself only to realize you just heard direction from god and you have a choice to listen and see where it leads and that there are other people fighting to deny their desires and flesh and choosing god. It’s very hard I stumble and get back up and I encourage us all to keep fighting. Amen ❤

As a new Christian and me being a DJ and musician I am struggling with feeling a void without “worldly” music and culture in my life. I am praying to find a church like this to become a part of. @@hiitsiris531Well, I can take a crack at it. We assess what is wrong based off of logical conclusions reached from action and consequence. Looking at homosexuality at its core which is 2 ppl of the same gender coming together- be in sex, love, a combination of both. You get the idea.
Logically, you are not hurting anyone by doing so. If your argument is that God doesn’t like it and condemns it, I can easily turn around say that you interpreted the Bible wrong (cause ppl have their own interpretations) and that God loves everyone equally.
This is the part of the religion that throws me off and to be honest? The fact that videos like this are still SO popular and around like they are just proves that there is still A LOT of hate towards gay people simply for just existing in a relationship with another human being.
And I’ll tell you one thing and I mean this, any God that I worship would NEVER have a problem with me being gay. And if that God does, I don’t want anything to do with it.
If denying who you are and pretending that you no longer are who you are is peaceful, then do you. But this, most certainly, is NOT the pathway for every gay person.

i was brought up as an atheist or not even that because nobody ever used that word or tried to decribe our situation. if i asked. my mom said. yeah .. there might be something .. but it never meant anything anyway.
but .. i had to grow 40+ to have thoughts like iris had in her young years!
i would have loved to know Jesus at this early age!
i talked about him a lot .. but never knew him.
i just acted if i knew everything about the bible because i wanted to look smart and after all ive read 1 sentences from it.
but .. i was an atheist! i am just sad thinking about it! i feel my life went bad because of this!
today i love the lord. thats all that matters anyway! still .. u have such a better life with Jesus! especially at a young age!

Wow such a beautiful testimony. I am so glad that you said we shouldn't rely on our feelings. I am trying very hard not to, but struggling with anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD makes it very difficult, but I'm doing my best. My mistake mostly is not talking to God about it. God bless you Iris, you're a beautiful lady.
Start having conversations with God out loud. Maybe when you're driving or when you're doing chores. Just start a dialogue with God: knowing you may not hear something verbally back but that the Holy Spirit goes before the throne and groans in intercession for you and will never return void. You will get Holy Spirit "drops" of thoughts or discernment when you talk to God in the spirit, having faith that He is receiving every word you speak. Invite Him in to search you, while you speak to Him, so that He will bring to the surface what it is you need to talk about. God will never forsake you.
