- In this video I take on Mr Barlow over 4 hole, giving him 1 shot at the stunning Radyr Golf Club in Wales which is a parkland course. Mr Barlow thinks he's found the answer to fixing his SLICE golf swing using a new technique.
Established in 1902, Radyr Golf Club is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in South Wales and has been described as “ One of Colt’s Little Jewels.” This, of course, refers to the course architect responsible for Radyr’s challenging parkland course - The Legendary Mr Harry S Colt, who is regarded by many as the greatest golf course architect ever.
Radyr is one of four Harry S Colt courses in South Wales. With its magnificent views overlooking the City of Cardiff and the Bristol Channel, Radyr has one of the most idyllic settings of any golf club in South Wales.
Nestling in rural parkland, its gentle undulations provide both Members and Guests with a course which is a delight to the eye, yet which offers the sternest of tests to golfers of all standards.
Renowned for its excellent putting surfaces, the course has hosted many National and County events and in 2015 played host to the Welsh National PGA Championship sponsored by Asbri Golf.

I think he’s made it worse , sort that swing path out mr b 😂 parkland all day . Something inclusive about Resort which is nice though .
Once Mr Barlow gets use to the new stance, he'll be able to drop his club to the inside and his drives will get straighter and longer! I am a 6'6" version of Mr Barlow...and my Pro had me do the same thing 30 years ago! I was carry an 18 at the time, struggling to get my swing that I had in college, before my knee operations! Once I got used to having my right leg back, my slice straightened out, and I got my handicap down to single digits in about 7 or 8 months.
Here's a thought, maybe one could have golf lessons and the other could have elocution lessons, I let you make your minds up. "I fink it's on the green".

Mr Barlow, I like the foot change but it looks like your shoulders are still wide open. Pull your right shoulder back so you feel really closed to your aim. I’m not a pro but that really helped me 🤷🏼♂️

Agreed, moving your feet is a waste a time for me. Strengthen your grip, swing around more than up and rotate your belt buckle to the target! Moving your feet never worked for me. Keep it up Mr Barlow!

My favorite type of course is any I can play. Only type of courses I have played are parkland and desert, it would be grand to play a links course.

Mr. Barlow, keep the right elbow close (not tight) to straighten out your slice. I have this great tip from a pro in Florida and it works for me. I am new to your channel and am loving it. Cheers.

Cliff top courses on the yorkshire coast are superb mate.
Go play Bridlington Links, Filey, Scarborough North Cliff and South Cliff, Flamborough amongst loads of other along that coastline......stunning!
Captain Slice - Also grip the club slightly stronger. I had the same drive & those 2 fixes helped me out ( foot back, stronger grip ) 🏌🏻♂️

I’m from Cardiff and have played most of the courses here and I would highly recommend Cottrell Park, it has two courses The mackintosh or the button.
The Mac has very wide fairways very forgiving for a natural faded drive Mr Barlow 😁🤣
And the button is narrow fairways with a lot of water, please consider playing if you guys are still in wales 🏴 would love to see you and the doctor play my local course

Mr. Barlow I’ve always had a bad slice until I changed my stance. I close the driver face a little and line up as usual but then I bring my right foot back so far it looks like I’m aiming at the other fairway! But they go straight as an arrow and I’ve been making 250-275 yard drives every time! Keep experimenting and good luck!

"BIMBO SLICE'S" IQ is the same as his handicap I think lol. I would love for him to fix that slice but it's the best feature on the channel, cracks me up. Get him to set up normally then move his left foot back 6 inches, not forward like he's been doing but I don't think anything will sort that out. Not even the 1068 lessons u've had Liam lol.

Saw fair comment about playing all year round
Southport Golf Club, located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, runs greens at 10.5 stimp. Doing the readings was part of my job. That's fairly slick... 11.5 gets interesting particularly Cooch, which runs to it's Grain and gets "volcanoes" for holes...

Links golf is a treat but I wouldn’t fancy it in the winter with strong winds. My favourite tracks are tree lined! Any of the Woburn courses are in my top ten
