True. Since you spend so much time doing missions in each place, it felt massive when traveling to a new city even when knowing it wasn't. Lots of side stuff to do also to keep you in each spot longer. Especially felt massive since Vice City's map was far smaller, so San Andreas felt revolutionary at the time.
GTA SA had so much side activities you could do that you almost always forgot there was even a masterpiece of a storyline. GTA V doesn't even come close to it. Here are some things I can recall off the top of my head. - Vigilante missions - Paramedic missions - Firefighter missions - Taxi missions - Pimping missions - Trucking missions - Train missions - Burglary mission - Car import / export - Gambling - Horse race betting - Gang / territory control - Car school - Bike school - Plane / heli school - Gyms - Romantic partners - Clothing customisation - Tattoo parlors - Restaurants That's just scratching the surface.

THE best. For what it offered at the time it was simply amazing. Few minor gripes some cars sounded worse and the weapons certainly sounded worse than vice city but the freedom, the options like eating, building muscle, dating and the other customisation stuff to the vehicles was mind blowing. The map felt simply huge even if it wasnt by todays standards, the second island you truly felt miles away from anywhere and this was done by creativity with level changes and the layout of the roads tunnels and the railway. The map still felt bigger than 5 to me even if its not, I dont care what anybody says. The way the military jets came after you was good too. Just so much. Obviously id get bored playing now like I can in gta online where I can have jet dogfights and tennis matches with randoms but like for like for its time it was the much superior game.
It prob had to do with the graphics is gta 5 were so good that the ps3 would run at 10fps so they made it worse. Tho yeah i agree they should have made that for ps4 or ps5

I definitely agree. In gta you get a hunger meter where you'd have to eat food and they'd have fast food available for that. They replaced it with gastations and snacks you get to eat on the go, but part of me misses fast food and the mere fact that your character can gain weight. They also had a muscle meter where you can work out in gyms which was cool. The mere fact that 4 at least had fast food but 5 just ignored it sucks.

There is so much more to do in San Andreas than 5. 5 looks great and the detail is amazing, but theres a lot of buildings and things that are there just for show. I also feel the police being incredibly accurate, the difficulty in losing wanted levels, and how easy it is to be wanted in GTA 5 take the fun out of the game.
I love GTA San Andreas because of the spooky vibe it has, I think it's kinda scary looking but in a fascinating way, like I know that if you wanna go for a more realistic game, the sky shouldn't look red or orange like in GTA Sa but it gave it an unforgettable vibe to it, it's just so cozy, so mysterious, so spooky, with all the fog and weird desolate places, like how does a game with a much much smaller map seem to have more desolate and spooky areas than the massive one? and the music in the radio adds to it... it's just something else, GTA 5 is more about realism than eerie vibes, and yet, you can't do as many things aside from the missions, even the cheat codes were way more fun in GTA Sa
1. there are alternatives for that. 2. Fighting mechanics in GTA 5 is actually improved to the point that you can manually dodge. 3. GTA 5 has a bigger map and every thing that’s found in GTA SA is also present in GTA 5 4. There are parkours in GTA 5, the fall and roll, the slide which is not there in GTA SA. Edit: only issue is the lack of cheats

In GTA V, The Only Way Is To Go To A Convient Store. In GTA SA. You Can Transform CJ Body. He Can Become Skinny, Fat, Muscular. All Thanks To Its Feature And Mechanics. They Lack In GTA V. In SA You Can Buy Street Foods Even In GTA IV You Can Also Buy Street Foods. They Are Absent In GTA V. Hey GTA V Has Good Graphics And Character Switch And Updated Cars Atlease.
Edit: I Also Forgot About The Fighting Mechanics And The Stats. There Are Alot Of Weapons In SA. In V, Most Of Them Are Gone. In SA You Can Dual Wield Any Weapons Thanks To Weapon Skills. You Can Also Learn New Moves For Melee Combat Or Fist Combat At The Gyms. All Those I Mentioned Are Absent And Missing In GTA V.

There is so much more to do in San Andreas than 5. 5 looks great and the detail is amazing, but theres a lot of buildings and things that are there just for show. I also feel the police being incredibly accurate, the difficulty in losing wanted levels, and how easy it is to be wanted in GTA 5 take the fun out of the game.

I love GTA San Andreas because of the spooky vibe it has, I think it's kinda scary looking but in a fascinating way, like I know that if you wanna go for a more realistic game, the sky shouldn't look red or orange like in GTA Sa but it gave it an unforgettable vibe to it, it's just so cozy, so mysterious, so spooky, with all the fog and weird desolate places, like how does a game with a much much smaller map seem to have more desolate and spooky areas than the massive one? and the music in the radio adds to it... it's just something else, GTA 5 is more about realism than eerie vibes, and yet, you can't do as many things aside from the missions, even the cheat codes were way more fun in GTA Sa

2. Fighting mechanics in GTA 5 is actually improved to the point that you can manually dodge.
3. GTA 5 has a bigger map and every thing that’s found in GTA SA is also present in GTA 5
4. There are parkours in GTA 5, the fall and roll, the slide which is not there in GTA SA.
