I think he needed something more to his character, more depth as to why he was acting this way. I don't know why I kept thinking that maybe he was acting that way because someone had threatened her safety. In my mind, the scenario that was playing was that he was being spied on like hidden cameras so he was acting that he hates her - maybe someone was forcing him to make him suffer. It's your story but this scenario made me give an anchor to his character - that in truth he was acting that way until he resolved the issue of the threat or something.
You could think of it that way also but It seemed like taehyung was forced into this marriage since he never treated her well, there's no change in his emotions even after she fainted , his actions were something anyone would do if someone was sick . With the amount of care y/n showed him ,he would have started to treat her well long back but everytime she did that it only got him more irritated , making it seem like he never wanted her ,he just Hates things related to her
