This has to be without any doubt whatsoever the best and most informative video for us beginners. Yes I have trouble holding shield and controlling the brush single handed, yes I still have problems with dagger strokes and yes I am trying to run before I can crawl but that is down to my age. There are no beginner tutorial out there that come anywhere near as honest as this so thanks Rob it really is appreciated. Stick with Dred and you will not go wrong.
This initial video has tremendously great information, it answers a lot of the how to start questions that I had. Thanks for sharing!
I like the idea of an introductory video an for me I will find it easier to watch the shorter paint videos as for me 15-20mins is about as much time as I get to watch a video and I don't like having to come back to finish it later as IMO it spoils the enjoyment and the learning experience👌
I found some of those paint pots with a lid on Amazon but mine are a 10ml with the lid attached which are ideal for what I do👍
This is a must do for me and a good shout out to Mark at the Art Workshop for his easy way of mixing flesh tones.

Tip. if your transfer Tape is too tacky, is to put it on your shirt and pull it off a couple of times.
You can also do that with masking tape as well or some people call it painter’s tape
I'm ganna give this ago and I'm waiting for washers to fix my HnS infinity I can't justify paying for iwata CM until I get good.
creos ps-270 will get it down also and not expensive
Once again rob top job on the pin up girl.... hey mate just a question what do u use to fix ur art paper to ur board ..im using blue tack but it can be a pain at times..

Did you mix your flesh tones and greyscale paints with the ISO or did you add that as and when you use it?
Yes mixed with the ISO and water
Could you use tattoo stencil paper its purple
Not sure I know exactly what you mean 🤔 I did have some of that kicking around I will have a look and try it 😉 thanks for the tip
@@dredfxcustompainti use the carbon paper by putting the print out from printer on to the carbon and draw round it so paper has a carbon copy on it then stick it to the skin so was thinking could do it opposite way round paper(printout) carbon the piece to be painted

Airbrushes.com do some good ones sparmax or iwata I would say are your best bet 😉
