Different day same shit, ain't nothing good in the hood
I'd run away from this bitch and never come back if I could
[Chorus (50 then Game):]
Hate it or love it the underdog's on top
And I'm gonna shine homie until my heart stop
Go head' envy me
I'm raps MVP
And I ain't goin nowhere so you can get to know me
Hate it or love it the underdog's on top
And I'm gonna shine homie until my heart stop
Go head' envy me
I'm raps MVP
And I ain't goin nowhere so you can get to know me
[Game]
On the grill of my lowrider
Guns on both sides right above the gold wires
I'll fo-five em
Kill a nigga on my song but really do it
Thats the true meaning of a ~ghostwriter~
10 g'z will take ya daughter out of Air Forces
Believe you me homie i know all bout losses
I'm from Compton where the wrong colors be cautious
One phone call will have ya body dumped in Marcy
I stay strapped like car seats
Been bangin since my lil nigga Rob got killed for his Barkley's
That's 10 years I told Pooh in 95' I'd kill you if you try me for my Air Max 95s
Told Banks when i met him imma ride
And if I gotta die rather homicide
I ain't have 50 Cent when my Grandmomma died
Now i'm goin back to Cali with my Jacob on
See how time fly?
[Chorus - 50 Cent]
From the beginnin to the end
Losers lose, winners win
This is real we ain't got to pretend
The cold world that we in
Is full of pressure and pain
Enough of me nigga now listen to Game
[Game]
Used to see 5-0 throw the crack by the bench
Now i'm fuckin with ~5-0~ it's all startin to make ~sense~
My moms happy she ain't gotta pay the rent
And she got a red bow on that brand new Benz
Waitin on Sha Money to land sittin in the Range
Thinkin how they spend 30 million dollars on airplanes
When there's kids starvin
Pac is gone and Brendas still throwin babies in the garbage
I wanna know what's goin on like i hear Marvin
No school books they use that wood to build coffins
Whenever I'm in the booth and i get exhausted
I think what if Marie Banker got that abortion
I love ya Ma'
[Chorus X2]
I love that dad recognized the “Brenda” reference!
Not one of my favorite artist, but I enjoyed your perspective. Clue: East Coast = Boom Bap (Minimalist, bare-bones beats w/accents and highlights). West Coast = G-Funk (Soulful, R&B, a fuller sound musically; usually with heavy reverence to the 70's and early 80's rhythm and blues). Keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing! (dad)
@@frontroom no, we're thanking YOU 2!
Son is getting it! You know he wants to rap along 👍👍 good video
Really love ur reactions, I really want to hear u react to these songs:

The Game - "One Night" is another good Game record with deeper lyrics and great music production as well, I would definitely recommend it.
Listen to “my love for you” the game
Pops is so awesome!!!!! His emotions to each song is crazy but also his memory to go back on certain artist is amazing!!! Love what y’all do we need more!!! More more more!!!! Love y’all!!!!!

Pops making eye contact with the camera after Game’s 5-0 references was awesome. You guys are great. I recommend 2Pac - Until the end of time.
“Everything’s gonna be alright” -naughty by nature is a good one to react to !
I think Dad will like the song “Dreams” from that same album. It’s a powerful song dedicated to someone that was slain.
i love this song soooo sooo much this is just a masterpiece
As a kid growing up in the hood, the first time I listened to 50s line about wanting to make it out of the hood and never going back hit me hard. Thankfully I made it out. Never want to go back😂
Dude your dad seems like a lot of fun. I love how he actually likes the music and vibes out. Keep up the good content
PLEASE PLAY SOME NAS ILLMATIC!! BEST ALBUM & BEST RAPPER EVER IMO.
I’m so happy about the growth of y’all channel. Definitely we’ll deserved! Y’all are completely different from other channels, y’all truly dive into the music and history. Even be teaching me stuff. Love it.

I found this channel and I’m hooked .. I’m a 90’s baby .. so going back in this time capsule is so nostalgic .. you guys are a dynamic duo ..🙌🏾🙌🏾🫶🏾
Thanks for the sub Winnie! More good stuff comin! - Kai’s dad
We need Bone Thugz N Harmony crossroads
Song still give me chills after all these years.. it didn't give me chills when it came out but it always age good
A reaction to "Doctor's Advocate" by The Game would be good. That's a song that I feel often gets lost in the mix and more people should hear it.
"Don't need your Love" and "Why you hate the Game" are also great tracks your pops may like.. GREAT content as always!
You have to do a bone thugs song one of these days for sure ! That would be amazing.
For sure!
foe tha love of $
The most nostalgic goosebump inducing beat I ever heard 🙆🏽♂️
I’d love to see your dad react to Mos Def “Ms. Fat Booty” or “Mathematics”! Toss some Wu-Tang in there soon too! ✌🏼
dad. thanks for giving your son time. believe me. it's worth it
You should do Dreams by the game off the documentary as well bro! 💯
I’m so glad you guys finally got mic stands 🤣😂
The oooooh in the background is Mary j Blidge y’all have to listen to MVP. It’s the same beat… I believe it was her song first I can’t remember but she tells her story. Your dad will love Mary’s voice
You’ve piqued my curiosity, thanks! (dad)
@@frontroom she layers with 50 cent on the chorus it’ll give you goosebumps. 🤗
@@supahnovah7338 yeah Mary’s version is MJB Da MVP
Her, Redman and 50 cent used to tour together in 1996
@@darrenraphael 50 Cent wasn’t really known in 1996
Man you so blessed to have pops who will sit down and chop it up with you about your music bro. Priceless
Can you please introduce your dad to Lauryn Hill - Doo-Wop (that thing)? 🙏😊
Yes please!!
Immediately! & really take in those lyrics
Nice! This took me back to high school days.
Kanye - heard em say would make a good reaction vid
My first suggestion would be "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like That)" by Digable Planets. A 90's hip hop gem. My 2nd would be Ghostface Killah's "All That I Got Is You" its a tearjerker. "Dear Mama" is the Greatest Hip Hop song of all time to me and I've been watching your vids ever since. Kai I definitely see you as a music journalist one day and a great one at that. Keep up the great work. much love to you and Dad.
Classic
I can’t get enough of this! I love the father’s unadulterated openness to each song. Both of these guys are articulate and insightful in their reviews of the songs, both in regards to the music and the lyrics. Id love to see a review of Sublime at some point! Santeria, Garden grove, get ready, bad fish, etc. I know it’s out of the norm for the channel but it would be great! Keep it up guys. Cheers from a Maple Ridge fella!
I wanted to watch this live but I’m heading into church, so looks like I’m watching the video later
enjoy Christ
