    Pretty detailed explanation, awesome, thank you! I watched some old tasty content a while back where Tom and Tony covered "marginal cost", which was a number that showed basically the risk vs. reward of going wider or narrower on spreads. I only remember it because I have it in some notes and I have here that it was calculated as Credit÷BPR, but I can't find the video where they talked about the implications of the numbers. A lot of good content over the years. Thanks guys!

    hello
    how do you define the wide of iron condors wing?
    what should to be the max delta for buying leg 5 delta or 2 delta?
    thank you

    @willsingleton6759 Год назад +1

    Interesting...I just did a one week 15 Delta IC on NVDA and the modeling showed that a ten lot with $5 wings yields roughly twice the premium as doing a one lot with $50 wings (using the same buying power for both).

    Re; Rolling too far out in time: Is this just a relative thing? in other words, if you started with 30DTE and you roll it out to 120 DTE, is that the same thing as rolling a 7DTE out to 21DTE? or do they just mean some absolute number of days like 90 days and longer?

    Wondering, does 45 DTE $120 strangle on TSLA makes sense? Strikes are 1 SD, Credit is about $6

    Good segment, fellas. How about some more on defense or exit guidelines on defined risk spreads?

    When do you just admit a credit spread is just wrong and take the loss and move on, 2 times the max gain ?

    Are there vehicles like spx that are tax advantages but not as volatile? I'd like to do spreads or condors but worried about some crazy 75 point move intraday

    I like picking stuff that’s doesn’t move much and do short term ICs wide. I’m usually risking $250 or a little more, but the PoP is 75% or better and on a Friday they usually hit. But that $250 makes me like $30 lol. Really wanna start taking it to the next level. I’m trading scared money.

      Hello! Isn't it like you have 25% chance to lose 250, so in roughly 4 trades your overall loss would be around -160$ (90-250) ?

    Dudes ... 10x$1 vs 1x$10 ... the HUGE difference is the commission. If you pay like $2.80 for short/long leg, it really matters. And pls the guy in lower frame - pls talk LESS. There is just too much hot air.
