It would have been great if you could have started about the program, the pedagogy, etc. Talking about package seems a little derogatory. Placements and package is such an Indian mindset. A person does an MBA specially after 5 years for the chance to broaden skill sets, and shift perspectives. Not everything can be pointed by package.
In India package has and will always make sense for an Mba. Nobody really just wants to invest 25 lakhs and just broaden skill sets. For that purpose and gaining skills basic certification will work as well. Talking about opportunity cost, you invest 15 months of your time ,make 0 money during the period and invest 25 lakhs on top of it. Yes, Mba is about alumni network, peer group, learning but it isn't really rocket science that you cannot learn with great work experience. Let's be real, we do an MBA to get better profiles, better growth opportunities, better salaries .
To the point interview, loved it !! Thanks for the amazing session sir
