Hunting Wild Turkey; Maryland Bird Down

Turkey hunting Tennessee was giving Mike some problems. Being new to the areas he was hunting, he realized more scouting needed to be done to give him a shot at the birds here. So he headed for familiar ground, and headed down the road to hunt turkey in Maryland. Knowing the terrain your hunting is often key to getting a bird, and this turned out to be the case when he arrived to hunt. Intimate knowledge of the WMA he was hunting, knowing where turkeys like to roost and spend their time, and knowing trails were through thick cover were located allowed him to get a shot at a very nice gobbler!
