Angling is a past time and a therapy. I love football but I would prefer to watch this; and this is my go to! Due to work, due to fatherhood and general nonsense I struggle to get out these videos are a taste of what I crave! Thanks for posting.
Another informative and enjoyable video. Was getting worried that you hadn't posted in a while, turns out my notifications had turned off! Looking forward to some plaice videos soon, as well as some myself up north here as the season begins. Tight Lines 🎣
Welcome back and thanks for watching! Video production has slowed down recently due to family illness and poor weather conditions over the winter - however spring is here and the plaice (albeit small ones) have arrived, so rest assured, you can expect 'flattie-bashing' videos soon, from venues I haven't covered yet.
Good afternoon Michael Well done on finding the dabs , hopefully the Whiting will begin to thin out soon... And to your previous reply, yes the plaice are showing , hearing good reports from seaford and Brighton area, but smaller fish at the moment.... Thank you and best wishes 😎🎣
Fantastic video sir, I was out fishing that same day in jan, cod fever at the Bristol Channel. So glad you got into the dabs as we all know that flat fish are your favourite to catch👍🏼,love dungey , some great marks there, appreciate your time and efforts 👍🏼👍🏼
Evening Michael are you fishing EOBC this year on the holderness coast , The flattie bash would be right up your street on the Friday before the main event.
A good shout; however I restrict my match fishing to freshwater. Would love to be in Holderness this weekend, but unfortunately I can't make it, so it'll have to be next year. Thanks for watching and all the best to those taking part.
Great video once again mick me and aimi fished aldeburgh and Holland on sea last weekend had over 20 dabs, aimi was well pleased , I fished for rays and drew a blank on both occasions , that’s a nice new blue bag you have , do you have a link for it ,cheers 😊
Top video 😊 would love to have a crack on some of these places especially living in jersey. Nothing like that here 😊 new sub from me. ❤ Ps what you doing to make the camera move in and out ❤
Hi, Mick, can I ask you when you are fishing in the day. What sort of time do u generally do this. Not having much luck lately, fishing in the afternoons at Hastings Harbour. Many Thanks!
At Hastings its generally 3 hrs either side of high water. At Dungeness it depends on which mark you are fishing. At coastguards and to the right at the point its better towards low water.
Yours films is my favorite on RUclips. You are the profesionalist. Thank you veru much.
Wow, thank you!

I fished at Hythe ranges that day, only pin whiting very cold ❄️ looking forward to those spring plaice tight lines mate and thanks for the video.
Good attempt - I might head in that direction soon. They are turning up in Sussex and Dorset.
That first session was worth it for the sunset!
Yes that made up for just catching whiting!

Sounds like a good session. The rucksack is a Vercelli Terra 40L Backpack - Google it and you should find one.
I went there on the 28th Jan, found all the larger Dab's came to Razor fish baits
A good shout - I still have some razor collected from the last major storm at Dunge, should have tried that.
Another quality video. I live in Southend and wondered if you had any tips for rigs, bait and distance for spring fishing
Thanks Paul - you could look at my video from Thorpe Bay - I have a go for flounders from about March to May, when they are most likely to turn up.
Thankyou. I will check it out.tight lines
@@paulcollis7651 hi Paul when are younout next I'd love to come and observe I'm just looking at starting out.

Many thanks for the sub! Film at high resolution and keyframe in post - it does take time though!
Nothing wrong with catching whiting . We are lucky to catch anything off the English coast these days.
A good point and thanks for watching.
What a difference a month makes from cornering the Whiting market to a good selection of Dabs
Yes - conditions change and with time, one species moves out and another moves in, which makes it more interesting.
