If you are using the " RESET" method and it tells you your ID is not valid in the submission form....it's because you copied and pasted the ID from your Teamviewer Simply take the spaces out of your ID in the form....NO SPACES BETWEEN THE NUMBERS OF YOUR ID....and it will accept it
I've been using TV for years for personal use and the overall experience has slowly went down hill. I have a home lab with a few windows VM's running in UnRaid and recently out of no where I started getting the "commercial use detected" pop up as soon as I try to connect to them from my desktop which is also on my home LAN. I tried the whole reset submission thing and I got an email from them the following day saying the IDs have been reset but I still get the same pop up. TV is bullshit now...time to find another solution.
@-retro-boy- I actually had them reset it again and it worked. I had to give them the ID number of the machine I was connecting from as well, forgot it the first time.
This no longer works. TeamViewer now demands that the user create an account for the privilege of resetting their software. Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent. A thousand points of light. Disappointed that the registry hack didn't work.
I just started geting today thats message telling me im comercial wich im not at all Use it maybe twice a month to help familly in another province Driving me bananas not knowing how to fix it, tried making a new account and still thinks im comercial and its wrong Giving me only 5 min usage wow Any help pls....

What the point of an uninstal and clean when have to get onto Teamviewer anyway and wait for a month for a maybe fix.
Did you end up getting your account back to a personal account after uploading the PDF? Or still will log you out

I complained and they emialed me a link to a form to fill out, but the link is a dead end. Didn't open any page, to fill out...what a joke.
How about for using through teamviewer on tab android to control another windows computer?

nope, for me i was accessing only my home PC from mobile or laptop and in a month it said im commercial user
