56 Dean Street’s web series The Grass Is Always Grindr is back. Handsome closeted boxer Adam (Taofique Folarin) and ‘loud and proud’ Insta-famous Joe (Denholm Spurr) struggle with their romance. In season 2 Adam tries to balance a HIV diagnosis against his upcoming fight, and PrEP-taking Joe ends up on the chillout scene. Francis (Jonathan Blake) has a fling with a twist, and Ryan (Matthew Hodson) confronts ghosts from the past.

There's always a need for lighthouses. The series nails it's target with an informed honest experienced and sincere approach based on the reality. It's rough out there. Without those who serve as lighthouses, there would only be a hopeless devastation.

so glad to see a web series tackling some of the less talked about issues that affect men (being drugged and male rape) well done to everyone involved.

very moving end ! I am glad that his mum came round in the end! The mess our parents can make us! I loved what Matthew said about losing friends, we can't go through that again! Not ever, guys need to wake up to the damage they are doing themselves.

@@56DeanStreetOfficial Thats great I won't its been great but quite triggering for reminding me of how alienated I am from my sexual self, not having had sex in over three years because so I so utterly repulsive to most gay men because I am not built enough or attractive enough! Although I am blessed that I haven't fallen into substance misuse I just isolate myself instead! Thanks for making these.

Joe, it makes sense now. You poor thing, your parents failed you especially your mum. No woman should ever choose her husband over her son, no matter what, but I geuss she had her own reasons. You going to shoot me but I don't think Adam and Joe should be in a relationship, they both have a lot of healing to do. I'd love for them to be friends.
"Just take the fucken drugs" 😭 I heard you loud and clear.
Wow, I'm so emotionally invested in this series. Thank you for this

I'm frustrated that the NHS has a drug available that would massively drop the infection rate for gay and bisexual men, yet it's unavailable! Has there been a campaign so we can start to make a wise opportunity to help the rest of us that are not into the Chemsex Scene and could obtain these medications NOW! If there not available on NHS how does a single man, looking to date and wants to take precautions by using PEP? How much does this cost out of pocket? Do we have a Campaign to change this regulation?

Hi Gary, you can buy PrEP from Dean Street or online suppliers. Details on this link dean.st/prepshop/ . The NHS has just reopened the PrEP IMPACT Study which offers NHS funded PrEP to people who meet certain criteria. Dean Street is one of the centre's offering it, but there are places all around England. Details here www.prepimpacttrial.org.uk

@@garygansbrubaker Hi Gary, Delighted to hear everything was OK when you went to the clinic in Oxford. Sorry to hear that you've had such a tough time in other parts of your life. You could book an appointment with one of our health advisor team by calling our appointments line on 020 3315 5656. If you can't get to London I'm sure the clinic in Oxford will either offer counselling services or could point you in the right direction locally. You could also try THT. They offer counselling to gay men in London and may know of services local to you. Here's a link www.tht.org.uk/centres-and-services/head-office/connect-counselling.

As a 40something gay this is simply horrifying. Are gay guys really like that now? In my day it was poppers and hooch lemonade to get high. The gay community has always been self destructive, but if this is what we've become, then it is truly heartbreaking.
